this is one of the best showcases of mannarino's odd, low pace counter-punchy playstyle, really puts into perspective just how unorthodox he hits the ball and constructs points
The body mechanics of his shots are deceiving, he’s on offense 2/3 of the time in these rallies, giron plays the role of the counterpuncher here, his shots aren’t slow in comparison to giron
His new percept racket is from yonex's control line. His previous vcore 95 was from yonex's spin line. but his strings are more powerful. He also has recently done a lot of fitness training with Karue Sell (of MyTennisHQ) and the difference is noticeable. MyTennisHQ put out a good video on it on their page.
Definitely. I would watch this all day over the normal angles. That's why I like watching the challenger streams as the camera is typically in a lower position. Thanks for posting.
Giron just crushing his groundies. Dude is good & major fun to watch. Almost won Dallas last week & wouldn't surprise me if he's back in another final here. Presumably top 20 before long imo.
Good perspective. I am impressed by Mannarino being inside the top 20 with his unique style. That technique is not something any coach in his right mind would teach to anybody.
@@igormorari380 Hardly any takeback or body rotation on the forehand. Mostly forearm and wrist. He seems to have adopted this "bad technique" due to injury. Most of the power he generates comes off the opponent's incoming ball and his extremely low string tension. That requires an enormous control and feeling. He also clears the net by a very narrow margin. That again requires a lot of spatial precision. Not one to copy for sure, but it works for him! Look at 8:55, where Giron plays a low soft incoming ball. Mannarino can't generate any power because he has no leverage.
Too many unforced errors. Most of which were going for the wrong shot at the wrong time. But it was fun to watch because of the video quality. They should have this as an option to watch slam matches.
Love this angle, and the quality is great, but it makes Mani's "Huh-ahyee"s even more noticeable/annoying. Was surprising to hear the US crowd more supportive of Mani than Giron.
From this angle, you can appreciate how annoying Mannarino is to play against with his constant low balls, even though he wasn't in his best form here. And when he floats any shorter ball, he pays.
Adrian Mannarino, Why is it that every time I see him play, I can't help but feel he's not a tennis player, but rather a spectator playing against the pro player?
Video quality is insanely good

Absolutely perfect view to watch tennis. God why can't they show tennis from this angle way more often ?!
Agreed!
Sensational footage.
It’s crazy how much power Mannarino generates off that style groundies. Deceptively dirty game.
Great angle to watch tennis. Also wonderful video quality.
Thank you very much!

Giron switching to a more powerful frame has really jumped his game. Nice video 👍
Yes! Thank you!
Which racquet? Precept?
@@minisurfbanana Yes. He was previously using the vcore 95.
Also he switched from a full bed of poly to a more powerful hybrid.

Marcos Giron is both extremely agile AND massive ! Great Job Marcos !!
Couldn't agree more!
Love matches from this angle. Thank you! I bet more casual sports fans would watch tennis if they broadcasted it from this angle on tv.
Couldn't agree more!
@@Tenniswithshane somebody tell the ATP! Do they wanna grow the sport or not?? lol
This angle and quality is what they should show on live TV!
It’s a good reason to subscribe for court level views 😉

Glad you liked it!
LETS GO LEG DAY 🙌
definitely. His are like bricks.
Good perspective.

I am a begginner trying to learn how to play, could you please explain to me what he does different? Is it his forehand too flat?

Great video. What is the ranking of these players ?
Excellent video quality!!!
Thank you! Cheers!
@@Tenniswithshane Cheers🍷🍷
It's so trippy when Adrian holds the ball for an eternity on the backhand for a winner down the line. Nice seats!
how every tennis match should be filmed and watched
Agreed!
Giron bt Mannarino 2-0

You are gonna be on Tennis TV Bro!
Red shirt?
Haha yes!
tennis would get way more viewers if they used this court angle. the high angle makes the game look so slow!
Giron needs to get a down-the-line backhand! That would probably increase his chances of winning any give match by 15-20%
Congrats to Marcos! 👏
mannarino makes it look easy

mannarino plays like a dad
good
Thanks
Спасибо за видео❤ обожаю Маркоса Гирона❤❤❤
Love Mannarino's unorthodox style for its variety but that constant "AY" is a nuisance.

Weird how he doesn’t have sponsored apparel
Tennis should always be filmed that way ; everybody knows that and it almost never happens... i don t understand
Marianino seems to be surprised his housewife tennis doesnt earn him grand slams.
Yet has earned him 12 million dollars. Not all pro tennis players win slams. He's 35 here.
my eyes hurt watching these 2 boring grinders
This bald guy dont look.like.pro,i think at my club they are players that look twice as powerful and can beat him.
career high top 20
Man, you’re recording great matches. Don’t move the camera.
