    Can you make a video how to convert a 4 way system to a 2 way system with existing lines?

    Where does the air bleed from when u go to drop the bags?

    • @twistedimages405
      @twistedimages405  24 วันที่ผ่านมา +1

      @@snowgaming7637 great question! There’s a tiny hole on the back of each valve that allows the air to drain from the bags. Since it’s venting into the passenger compartment you’ll get a little rubber smell until the air bags break in a bit, but it goes away pretty quickly as you use the suspension.

    I'm looking for a kit for my 68 c10 and one for my 84 c30 . I like the simplicity of this but I'm curious of how it would do towing . What can the rear bags and paddles handle weight wise
    Both trucks would tow . 68 would have a bumper pull 18foot car trailer on it alota and the c30 would have a 35 or 40 foot gooseneck on it from time to time

    • @twistedimages405
      @twistedimages405  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      On the c10 I’d just stick with the standard kit bags and brackets- it can handle the tongue weight of that trailer with no issues at all. But for the c30 I’d recommend a pair of the large Contitech bags we offer- shoot a message my way at phil@twistedimages.com and I’ll show you what we just did on an OBS Dually last week

    • @twistedimages405
      @twistedimages405  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      This type of setup isn’t designed for speed- it’s the slowest system we carry. We do have a bunch of options for quicker lift and drop- message me through our website www.twistedimages.com and I’ll help guide you into the parts you need!

    Does the gauges bounce around while driving?

    • @twistedimages405
      @twistedimages405  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      They will move around as the pressure changes while you drive, but it’s usually not a huge swing

    Can i remove the airline from the barb using a lighter to heat it up?

    • @twistedimages405
      @twistedimages405  11 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Absolutely! Use a lighter to get it to soften up, then wiggle it a bit to open it past those barbs.
      Cutting the line will usually damage the fitting and make it leak, so this is the right way to go. Good luck!

    Is there a way to run the line from the air out hole to go outside?

    • @twistedimages405
      @twistedimages405  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      I’ve seen some creative attempts at this, but the back of the valve just has a small hole in it with no provision for a fitting or tube to run from it.

    • @twistedimages405

      Giving each air bag its own valve is the key- this 4 path setup prevents air from transferring from one side to the other when going around a corner.

    Query: if each bag has its own line from the tank, is that a faster fill to the bag? Thx

    • @twistedimages405
      @twistedimages405  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      The way we set these up, one front and one rear share each feed line. So when lifting both front bags or both rear bags they’re each getting a separate feed. It’s not common to lift all four corners at the same time so four separate lines is usually more work for nothing. But if you think you’ll be doing that, I’d definitely give each valve its own feed
