    Concrete Charlie is the physical embodiment of Philadelphia. Toughest guy on both sides of the ball, survived 30 missions as a pilot in WWII, drafted 1 overall, won 2 chips as an eagle, and is now a HOFer and made the NFL 100. Not to mention he never played for a team outside of Pennsylvania in middle school, high school, college, and the pros.

      You ain’t lying. It’s absolutely ridiculous. But here’s the stat of Reggie’s that blows my mind every time I think about it. It’s actually one of the most impressive stats in any sport on any level I’ve ever seen..
      In 8 seasons as an Eagle, he played 121 games. In those 121 games, he recorded 124 sacks. He *averaged* over 1 sack/game for *EIGHT* *YEARS*. So it’s not like it’s a short/small sample size. Absolutely bonkers.

    . Cunningham is probably my favorite Eagle as well. That 1990 season they talked about was so good, that in the Tecmo Super Bowl game, which the player stats and abilities of that year is based, makes him unstoppable. Even is the defense is perfect and all receivers are covered, he can just run down the field. Let's also not forget, going back to real life, that he stepped in for the punter and booted one 80 yards.

    There is no doubt that Bednerick was the greatest Eagle ever. I met him when I was a kid in the 50's. He lived in an old row house in Bethlehem Pa. He gave me an autographed football which I naturally took with me to the playground where it was totally destroyed. ManI wish I still had that ball.

    • @eaglejoe8

      Foles wasn't traded for a 1st rounder. He, along with a 2nd round pick was traded for Bradford. After a season with Bradford, the Eagles held the #13 pick in 2016. They then traded Byron Maxwell, Kiko Alonso, and pick 13 to Miami for pick #8. Then traded pick 8, a 2017 1st, 4th, and 2018 2nd to Cleveland to move up to 2 to get Wentz.

However, the man led the Eagles to the 1960 NFL Championship over the Green Bay Packers, which was the only playoff defeat for Vince Lombardi and Bart Starr. I would remove Randall Cunningham and put Norm van Brocklin at #8, moving Jerome Brown and Harold Carmichael down one spot each.

      When a team sport consists of 53 players, wins and losses are rarely credited to a single player. You've got to have a terrible game for that. Brady threw over 500 yards 3 tds and zero picks for passer rating of 115. Guess how many quarterbacks have thrown for over 500 yards and zero picks and lost....
      Brady's the only one.
      The Patriots defense and special teams units get the most blame followed by the patriots offense for this particular loss. Belichick is primarily in charge of defense and special teams units, while Mcdaniels and Brady primarily run the offense. Belichick gets more blame than Brady for this loss.

      he was only on the team for 2 years. Hes good, but as eagles greats...he aint greater than Mcnabb or Cunningham

    I'm not an Eagles fan but the fact that they left Wilbert Montgomery off of this list makes this list invalid.

      Studa Baker whose he replacing on that list?

    • @Rockhound6165
      @Rockhound6165 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Tommy McDonald. McDonald was good but Wilbert was a game changer when healthy.

    • @jimritzheimer7465
      @jimritzheimer7465 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      McNab played great and put up crazy numbers against shity teams. Foles gets it done when it matters. There is no way Eagles win that super bowl if Wentz played. He and McNab have a lot in common. Wentz is even starting to throw easy passes in the dirt and over receivers heads. They are starting to look like the same quarterback. Oh and both stopped being able to run the ball after the 2nd season.
