@@Ryndia Homu Labs is decent for lore for the most part. I'm not 100% sold on his explanation of the multiversal aspect of the Honkai verse, mostly because he focuses too much on wording and is willing to brush aside logic for exact translation in places. I also have a memory of that video annoying me because he completely misused an actual astronomical term to support his theory of why a translation should be the way he says it should be but I don't remember the detail. Outside of that topic he tends to be reasonably reliably information wise. There's also the Chronicles videos from the official Honkai Impact chanel - they summarise the game story at different points and with different focus characters. Heavy on spoilers but since you don't intend to play that's actually a plus I think. If you like reading and have the time Honkai Impact has a whole bunch of comics/manga/manhua that covers mostly events outside the game story, largely backstory.
So basically the sword kinda like refrencing to HI3 Herrschers element, like 12 swords refering to 12 Herrschers and apparently this story clip kinda reminds some people with GGZ ( one of the old Mihoyo game ) story vibe. So the lore might have some mixed aspect with the 2 earlier games
