Question was asked - how do you cleanse your palette after a dram? The answer is based on what you have available. Some simply swish mineral water in their mouth while others may eat a plain cracker or cookie or an oat cake, which would be one of my preferences. Coffee beans work as well for cleansing your nasal passage.
Love this one! Maple bacon pankakes indeed, and we don't mind the rough behind 😄. We really appreciate the discussion on age with respect to taste/quality/smoothness.
I suspect some of you are wondering what SMWS means. The 'Single Malt Whisky Society', a member based society that offers the world's largest selection of single cask strength whisky releases and iconic label codes that reference where the whisky was produced. There are operate multiple venues in the UK and abroad. The two I am aware of in Scotland is on Queen Street in Edinburgh that has both a member and non member bar and accommodations for members, and the other is in Glasgow on Bath Street that offers similar services. You can purchase SMWS bottles at the Strath in Victoria and attend one of their outturns, as they call them, or the Legacy liquor store in Vancouver.
Oops! I meant Scotch Malt Whisky Society, which I might add is a bit of a misnomer as some of the whiskies for 2024 also include whiskies from Ireland, Japan, US and India I am told.
We enjoyed this one-thank you!
@@ryguy37409 awesome... makes me happy to hear this!

Beautiful, soft nose. Smooth (yes, smooth!) and with notes of butterscotch. An after-burn on the lips. My fave so far!
@@AnneThompson-e8x Glad you like it!
