    Thanks for another great video.
Watching your video I'm thinking, I must really get my saltwater gear sorted and get out there again.
Will be a change from the freshwater I'm still enjoying.
    Keep up the great vids.

Used to fish here about 25 years ago and it looks like it hasnt changed much, most of the time a million little bites but never bloody hook anything until a toadie swallows it 😂, nice to know it wasnt just me. Only decent catch I remember was a 30cm or so Bream one day.

Nice bream at 30cm. There are plenty of fish in there if you use small hooks and light line. You might get a few small ones but there's the odd big one there too.

Hey can you please tell us what bait are you using for the rod that caught a lot of fish

I fished there last week, plenty of bites but no catches. I got blown way by the gale force winds.

Hi Wayne. Have you fished the jetties further down that river? Ozone jetty or the one near the bridge/restaurant? Would be interesting to see a video of your baits and techniques down there.

hi, I haven't fished those jetties but I would use the same rigs as they work everywhere.

You should fish with 3 rods. Increase your chances by 50% 😊
    Yep, that's a tailor at 20:00.

Hi, yes, that would work but unfortunately current Victorian Fisheries Authority regulations only allow for 2 rods per person.

    • @nicksmith3746
      @nicksmith3746 4 ปีที่แล้ว

@@howtofish5051 Oh really. In NSW we're allowed 4 rods person, and 3 hooks per line if baited.
So you can have theoretically 12 baited hooks in the water at the same time. I normally fish with 3 rods.

@@nicksmith3746 Sorry, I was referring to inland waters. In marine waters we can have up to 4 rods but this section of the river, I think, would be considered inland

@Angus JONES He already fishes with 2 rods, so 3 is another 50% 😁

Good vid but they are juvenile salmon, not Tommy Ruff. Cheers

    You should try garden worms.
