Summary from Ustadh Abdur Rahman Hasan's advice: 1. Show gratitude - Allah will increase your memorization in sha Allah 2. Ikhlas - many people lack it 3. Revision - otherwise you'll lose what you memorized 4. Stand up at night and pray what you memorized - a brother you used to revise the entire Qur'an in 5 daily prayers and tahajjud 5. Understand the meaning of the aayat - basic understanding is enough 6. Keep away from sins and bad company - otherwise it will affect your hifdh
@Lamin muhammad Kuyateh 1. Repetition, repeat until you know it whether that be 10 times or 29 times, totally depends on ur ability. 2. Make Dua, say this every day sincerely: 'Oh Allah make it easy for me to memorise Quran' and 'Oh Allah give me the ability to memorise more'. 3. If you want to finish the Quran early, you need to find time out every day or every two days to memorise as much as u can.
10:16 that's so true WAllahi! When I commit any type of sins or set among people who make gheiba, and not reminding them of Allah SWT,I see the affect of that sin on my memorization of the Qur'an and Tahajud prayers! Have been trying to focus on revision. A lot of the time I just feel im too old to memorize more and to retain it. Any good tips? I have memorized almost 8 ajzaa now but I keep on forgetting parts.
As salaam alaykum sister masha Allah good to hear abt ur memorization n ur madressa. I too go for memorization at a markaz but i have just finished last 3 juzz. I too have a spouse n kids. My advice please don't leave your madressa its okay if u can't memorize like others do. Take ur time its okay even if u do little but just dont leave the madressa coz when we do it by ourself we dont give our 100% n we are not consistent and focused. Pls dont think abt ur age its just a number. In my markaz there are ladies who are above 50 and 60 n 70 too. There is an old woman who comes in a wheelchair with a nurse to lookafter coz she is paralyzed. There is blind woman too but she recites beautifully n u will never get bored by listening to her recitation. U are nt alone, there are many like you n below ur level too. I remember when I was younger, around 20 when I first time started memorizing, and till this day those parts are very strong in my mind. But now I can memorize a new surah by repeating its ayaats and pages maybe 30-40 times, but still leavew me if I dont revise it within one week. Of course depends on which surah too. Some are easier than others. I memorised last juz, first juz, then 10th, 11th, 12th, 13th, and half of 14th. Then some portions of 15th, and some surahs here and there. I want to connect all the way down to surah taha, then start memorizing from 29th, 28th, 27th etc. Or finish from 2nd juz of baqarah all the way down to connect to the 10th. Havent decided yet. But baqarah, imran, and Nisaa are very important surahs. Lots of ahkaam etc. Baqarah is decent easy. Imran seems easy too. Nisaa a bit hard. I want to go back in the madrasa again in Shaa Allah.

In Paradise there are rooms whose outside can be seen from the inside and the inside can be seen from the outside. Allah has prepared them for those who feed the poor, who are gentle in speech, who fast regularly and who pray at night when (other) people are asleep. [Ahmad] 14. O Allah, send prayers upon Muhammad, Your servant and Messenger, the unlettered Prophet, and send prayers upon the family of Muhammad and his wives and progeny, just as You have sent prayers upon Ibrahim and upon the family of Ibrahim; and bless Muhammad the unlettered Prophet and the family of Muhammad and his wives and progeny, just as you have blessed Ibrahim and the family of Ibrahim in all the worlds, verily You are the Praiseworthy, the Glorious.
As Salamu Alaykum, JazakAllahuKhayran for this beneficial video ❤. Consistency when learning anything is key🔑🔑... Sometimes we become weak and are behind our usual routine but this should never cause someone to quit it completely, rather the person should continue with the process even if one has to start from scratch ⬜ (when it comes to quantity). Just memorizing a single Ayah one day in between is better than a single day doing nothing.📊 PS. @Al Madrasatul Umariyyah Did you plan to release some new video about Imam MIAW and the usual misconceptions about him ?

Consistency is key People give up on doing 1 juz a day To doing nothing. Be consistent even if it is 1 line. Atleast you are consistent and getting a habit. Stay consistent with your capability and time freedom
@@haroondabbagh2869 yes consistency is definitly the key. Howevee my issue is not the amount I read. I became used to reading several ajzaa daily from the madrasa, easily if I have the time. But the more I revise during the day the easier it leaves my mind I feel. But if I focus on lets say revising 5 pages daily but strongly, then it is a lot stronger. But 5 pages revision daily is very less and too slow. And if Im memorizing at the same time as revising then everything becomes blurry. If anyone has a good tip for a program for revision and new hifz, etc. Then please share. Most teachers say that never stop memorizing, everyday memorise even if it is an ayah. What do you brothers and sisters think?
@@lolome1448 You should be following what the teachers say. The wisdom could be (Allahu alam) from my perspective that it's the novelty, the daily sense of making progress and getting somewhere. Whereas if you only revise what you have and have no ambition to memorize further you are quickly going to get bored and relaxed. Don't underestimate yourself and your capacity to memorize - some of the sahaba were very old in age when they memorized the Qur'an. Age is not an excuse for not memorizing even though it does make memorization harder. Allah will not let your efforts go to waste - the point is to die on the path of seeking knowledge or memorizing Qur'an so memorize as much as you can so you're not in regret when you're even older that you should've memorized more juzz when you had the energy (meaning you at this age right now!). I'd rather not be in regret on the Day of Judgement seeing somebody who struggled more than me to memorize the Qur'an get rewarded for it while I slacked off with low ambition. @@abusaeed7482 yes you are definitly correct. The madrasa I was going in they were flexible and understanding of the different students' capabilities. The kids live there and have lots of free time to focus on the quran alhamdulilah. Friday is the only day off. I was going every day except Friday. My teacher allowed me to memorize less than 3 pages daily if it was too much. But minimum 1. Alhamdulilah mostly I was ahead of schedule and some of the pages were old memorization which made it easier to adhere to the 3 pages daily. By the time I stopped my teacher understood my sitation as said the most important thing is not to forget what I have memorized by revising all the time. And believe me Im very regretfull that I didnt finish memorization when I was younger or memorized a lot more. So noe its about putting the time and effort into it now while we have some time. So dont become more regretful later on iA
Read from the the Quran what you have memorized (repeating continuously from the Quran)and your memory Will sit . It's all about reading and repeating.
alhamdulillah for this video but whenever I read the meaning of the surah I'm learning I always forget it. Any advice as to how I can remember the meaning of a surah. May Allah bless you.
Assalamu alaikum sister. To remember the meaning, try learning word by word for example the 3rd ayat in surah al fatihah ملك يوم ادين. You learn what malik means (king, owner) Than the word yawm (day) Than the last word, and you connect them with each other. And you realise what it means (👆the owner of the day of judgement) and whenever you revise your memorised part, you read it with the meaning. Than you say it from your mind thinking about the meaning of the words, it will help InnShaaAllah even with learning arabic. InnShaaAllah you will find this helpful
There are some good tutors on websites like Riwaq al Azhar or Madinah Quran Academy. There are also free group classes via Masjid an-Nabawi at quran-mn.com.

Abu Hurairah reported that the Prophet said: He who repeats after every prayer: Subhan Allah (Glory be to Allah) thirty-three times, Al-hamdu lillah (praise be to Allah) thirty-three times, Allahu Akbar (Allah is Greatest) thirty-three times; and completes the hundred with: La ilaha illallahu, wahdahu la sharika lahu, lahul-mulku wa lahul-hamdu, wa Huwa `ala kulli shai’in qadir (There is no true god except Allah. He is One and He has no partner. His is the sovereignty and His is the praise, and He is Omnipotent)Will have all his sins pardoned even if they may be as large as the foam on the surface of the sea.” (Muslim)
5. Zaid ibn Harithah narrated that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Whosoever says: ‘Astaghfirullaha al-`Azeem al-ladhi la ilaha illa howa Al-Hayy al-Qayyum wa atubu illayh(I ask forgiveness of Allah, the Magnificent, than Whom there is no deity, the Living, the Sustainer of existence, and I turn to Him in repentance,) his sins will be forgiven even if he should have run away from the battlefield (while he was engaged in fighting for the Cause of Allah, which is a grave sin in Islam). (Abu Dawud and authenticated by Al-Albani)
6. The Prophet peace be upon him said "Whosoever recites Durood Sharief on me 10 times in the morning and evening, I will intercede for him on the day of Qiyamah." (TIBRANI)
7. Whoever reads Surah Ikhlas ten times, Allah will build a palace for him in Paradise. ‘Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) exclaimed, “If that’s the case, then we will increase in our palaces!” The Prophet ﷺ (may the peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) responded, “Allah is better and greater (in reward).” [Ahmad]
8. Whoever reads Surat al-Kahf on Friday, it will act as a light/protection for him from one Friday to the next. [Bayhaqi]
9. Whoever performs their ablution carefully and then affirms (their faith by testifying): “Ash-hadu an laa ilaha il Allah wahdahu laa shareeka lahu wa anna Muhammadan `abduhu wa rasuluhu; Allahumma-ja’lni min at-tawaabeen waj-a’lni min al-mutatahireen”: ‘I testify that there is no true deity except Allah Alone, Who has no partners, and that Muhammad ﷺ is His slave and Messenger; O Allah, make me from those who repent and purify themselves’ - the eight gates of Jannah are opened for him so he may enter through whichever of these gates he desires.[Tirmidhi]
10. Whoever says: “Radheetu billahi Rabba, wa bil Islaami Deena, wa bi Muhammad Nabiyya” - ‘I am pleased with Allah as my Lord, and with Islam as my Religion, and with Muhammad as my Prophet,’ Paradise would be (made) mandatory for him. [Abu Dawud]
11. Whoever asks Allah for Paradise three times (Allahumma inni as’aluk al-Jannah), then Paradise will say: “O Allah! Enter him into Paradise!” And whoever seeks protection with Allah from the Fire three times (Allahumma ajirni min an-Nar), the Fire will say: “O Allah! Protect him from the Fire!” [Tirmidhi]
12. Whoever is easy-going, gentle and kind, Allah will make the fire forbidden for him. [Hakim]
13. In Paradise there are rooms whose outside can be seen from the inside and the inside can be seen from the outside. Allah has prepared them for those who feed the poor, who are gentle in speech, who fast regularly and who pray at night when (other) people are asleep. [Ahmad]
14. Narrated from Abu Hurayrah that the Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) said: “There is a soorah of the Qur’an, with thirty verses, that interceded for a man until he was forgiven; it is ‘Soorah Tabaarak Alladhi bi yadihi’l-mulk (Blessed is He in Whose Hand is the dominion)’ [al-Mulk 67:1].”
15. Say this 3 times for 6 hours worth of reward: Subhan-Allah Wa bihamdihi, ‘adada khalqihi, wa rida-a nafsihi, wa zenatee ‘arshihi, wa midada kalimatihi(Allah is free from imperfection and I begin with His praise, as many times as the number of His creatures, in accordance with His Good Pleasure, equal to the ink that may be used in recording the words (for His Praise).” (Muslim)

As Salamu Alaykum,
JazakAllahuKhayran for this beneficial video ❤.
Consistency when learning anything is key🔑🔑...
Sometimes we become weak and are behind our usual routine but this should never cause someone to quit it completely, rather the person should continue with the process even if one has to start from scratch ⬜ (when it comes to quantity).
Just memorizing a single Ayah one day in between is better than a single day doing nothing.📊
PS. @Al Madrasatul Umariyyah
Did you plan to release some new video about Imam MIAW and the usual misconceptions about him ?

Alhamdulillah
I try to revise by reading what I memorized in the sunnah prayers and qyam ul layl if I can get up.
It really upsets me that I keep on forgetting.
Consistency is key
People give up on doing 1 juz a day
To doing nothing.

It's all about reading and repeating.
hayyakallah sheikh pls make duah for me to memorise His book
alhamdulillah for this video but whenever I read the meaning of the surah I'm learning I always forget it. Any advice as to how I can remember the meaning of a surah. May Allah bless you.
th-cam.com/video/xlhhtO2OQtU/w-d-xo.html
Only 5 minutes and 56 seconds video
Very beneficial💎 ماشاء الله
Assalamu alaikum sister. To remember the meaning, try learning word by word for example the 3rd ayat in surah al fatihah ملك يوم ادين.
You learn what malik means (king, owner)
Than the word yawm (day)
Than the last word, and you connect them with each other. And you realise what it means (👆the owner of the day of judgement) and whenever you revise your memorised part, you read it with the meaning. Than you say it from your mind thinking about the meaning of the words, it will help InnShaaAllah even with learning arabic.
InnShaaAllah you will find this helpful
Assalam walaikum, does anyone know of a Ustadh for Qur’an, whether it be online or in person? I am in the Midwest

Study the Quran alone do not mix the hadiths with Quran.
