I agree. I think the nature of this switches is a bit mushy and neutral. Will tweak this board to become more clacky later on. Thanks for the feedback though.
You can adjust both the appearance and acoustics to your liking, encompassing not just the click of the keys but the entire keyboard's feel. As @poppy69420 pointed out, it's not everyone's cup of tea. However, once you delve into this world of customization, it's quite captivating! :)
Yeah I agree, I wanted to build it low as much as possible. That is why I picked up the medium (height) swtiches from Tecsee but it's a bit weak in sounding. It's a bit silent to my liking. I will tune this with other switches to get more clacky sound. Stay tuned.
Decent video, but could use work. Appreciate the material-design style inspiration and the top down video captured. However, video is lacking direction, niche, and reason for your viewers to be engaged. Your video feels robotic, non-opinated, and just meant to document your build. It's almost like a video the official youtube channel of the keyboard company would release. Take 3ildcat for example. Their video also contain building and test typing after, without voice dubbing and with subtitles actions. However, theirs are made with the😅 ASMR-like quality, filmed and edited to be calming. 3ildcat also include thoughts in subtitles, mistakes and decisions made, and cute scenes. They add character to the creator and their video. Also work on your song choice and sound mixing. Not only a objectively bad song, but also clashes with the clean aesthetic of the video. Music should've faded out earlier when you were trying to let us hear the sound of the switch.
Thank you for your detailed feedback! I really appreciate your insights on the video's style and direction. I'm aiming to improve and create content that is both informative and engaging, and your points about the need for a more distinct voice and engaging editing style are well taken. I'll definitely look into incorporating more personality and clarity into my videos, much like the engaging ASMR-like quality you mentioned with 3ildcat. Also, noted on the music and sound mixing - that's something I'll pay more attention to in future videos. Thanks again for taking the time to help me improve!
This custom keyboard scene has really expanded, with so many options for personalization and modification! It's quite fascinating to see the level of creativity and dedication in the community, though I understand it can seem overwhelming to those new to it.
I love the neo series they have the best layout imo
I agree. I just bought Neo80 as well and it is the most minimal and clean TKL layout.
i like the sound actually
Thanks for the comment! First I didn’t like the sound and feel but I am getting used to this sound.
Nice video, but it sounds really mushy :/

Why can't I just get it assembled out of the box?
Cause it’s made for the enthusiast audience, I suggest you look at the upcoming luminkey65 or rainy 75

@@hello_dottry muted but not silent switches
Thanks for the tip. Do you have any recommendation? I am thinking to try Bsun raw for the clacky sound.
@@hello_dot I don’t know of many muted switches except for invokeys black sesame, ws morandi, ws jade, and Aflion tropical waters
@@poppy69420 thanks. I have WS jade and thought it can be clacky linear. I definitely try this. :-)

True. It is quite overwhelming; that being said, I loved your video and have Huge respect for all the hard that must have gone behind the scenes.
Appreciate your comment and thanks for watching my video!
