Listening to Steve-O and Tony Hawk talk about getting old is oddly cathartic. Being almost 30 it's been awesome growing up watching them. Love you guys!
I just turned 30 and I still suck at skating but I've grown up with skaters and I've always admired Tony and SteveO for being "old" and sticking with their passion. Now they're actually "getting old" and still killing it!!!
Mann we all had the same childhood huh? I'm about to turn 30 and I can say we were the last to play outside and break shit and grow up watching wwf and jackass and skateboarding! everyone wanted to be a skateboarder in the Midwest... mann!!! I feel like we are so old but are young still. (for now) but we were here before major technology playing super Nintendo to having a computer in our pockets. our generation is special and wild. nostalgia hits the most with us. like I said we were there during Y2K and mainstream birth of the internet but also playes outside and rode bikes with our friends and did all kinds of stuff that people trip over now days than they did 20 years ago.. etc etc.. yall be safe tho life is a WILD RIDE but we can digg it.

This Steve o and Tony hawk has become one of the best duos podcast are so fun to listen to. Love the history of y'all, and where you all are now and admiration for each other. Too cool
Best podcast I’ve found so far. Started it last Tuesday and binged every episode at work and just finished this morning with this new one. Tony’s podcast was killer too! 🤙🏻
Good to see Tony has that safety net when attacking those half pipes..his experience as well as trained pros at the ready is comforting to see. I get so stressed and stoked dude. Awesome Legend.
There’s no safety net for a normal half-pipe, you must be talking about that mega ramp thing he skated. Those are only a handful of pros in the world that skate those. There are no safety nets for just normal vert ramps, but usually when people are skating vert they have a helmet and pads on. If they are skating other transitions that are not vert, they normally don’t even wear a helmet or pads.
That's awesome dude glad to see you guys still getting it in. Just turned 35 and I broke my hand last week on a nasty fall going downhill in the back of my neighborhood period after 26 years of riding I'm turning in my wheels and hanging it up.
Dude, I love Tony Hawk. He's one of my favorite professional athletes. He just looks like he could sell you insurance, sell you a used car, or kickflip a rack of stairs and not even blink an eye.
Steveo is a really rad dude, I'm so grateful he is honest and shares his struggles with us... his stories inspire me to be better person :) Thanks man, you rock!
Great episode! Tony Hawk always has such a positive vibe about him. A great guy to look up to. Just bought the signed charity photo. Can’t wait to receive it, Steve-O 😊🇬🇧
I appreciate you guys talking about the photo i purchased! Thanks for bring rad dudes! Makes the photo even more part of a story i feel like i am part of. Excited for jackass 4 and the next birdhouse video!
23:23 Hell yeah, man. Giving back is great. There was a time when my family once needed a food bank after a tornado. It's important to pay it forward; it's easier by collaborating with local produce shops and grocers to send things that are near expiration. ....they can either get a charitable tax credit, or a write-off as a loss; and it feeds families in need.
Same, but my skatepark was upgraded by Tony hawk, he used to just be a few bowls because it was built 50 years ago (brimmer park) it was actually one of the first in America.
I have always had the upmost respect for Tony Hawk. He has managed to keep his great attitude and humility over the years, which shows what a great person he is. He’s a good father, family man, and role model. Rare traits that professional athletes seem to lack these days. I would love to have the opportunity to sit down and have a conversation with him.
Exactly. Tony Hawk took time out of his busy day (which he mentions during the podcast) to do this podcast with Steve-O. Only for Steve-O to ignore him in the end. Maybe Tony Hawk didn't care but it's still rude AF. Next time Steve-O should plan better.
Deism and pantheism have always interested me, especially pantheism. Einstein’s interpretation of God. I think if there is a great architect or higher power or first cause, it is the most beautiful and logical perspective.

Two legends and two inspirations that prove that being old is just a mindset. That's why I got the first run of the 8x10 double wall ride photo to remind me of that!!
The thing about the 900 is from a movie called 'All this mayhem'. It's an awesome movie about 2 Aussie bogan brothers going over to the US to kick Tony Hawk's arse at skateboarding. They did but succumbed to drugs quite tragically. The argument from Tas doesn't make sense because no one 'steals' a trick. You land it or you don't and there's nothing secret about a 900 degree rotation. Watch the movie!
Tony's one of the realist dudes out there. Even non skaters can admire the role model aspect of how he presents himself. Such a legend in life and sport. Long live the milk drinkers!!!
How cool is Tony Hawk? He's seems like a really chill guy, and I really like hearing him talk. I could probably listen to him talk about what he orders at Waffle House or why he thinks Corgis are a supreme dog breed all day. A great combo of a wildcat in Steve-O and a really mellow, composed, funny Tony Hawk. So rad.
I literally only have two famous peoples autographs ever and they are both in this video 😄🙌 I met SteveO in Dublin airport dressed as Jesus 😅and he gladly met and signed everything for anyone that came out to meet him 🔥🔥🔥 Scott was totally awesome too 😄✌️ and I bought one of the signed wall ride prints right after I got steveOs book 😆
