I recently found that someone had keyed my brand new truck, thankfully the scratch isn’t to deep and should be repairable, thanks for the video it helped me a lot
It depends on climate, if car is garage kept and where you drive (dusty or clean conditions and air ect). I have a 2009 Pontiac that is parked outside (typically in the sun but sometimes in shade if I can) In Ohio where summers can get hot and winters can get cold. I always wax my car in the Spring (March-April) and always a second time around the end of September (just before it starts getting cold/chance of snow). Again always do a good wash before waxing your car. It is not to much upkeep twice a year maybe takes me an hour or two. (always wax in shade if you are able too- I pull it in my parents garage-) This is not much short term again as it is long term gain. 11 years and my paint is still in very good condition, because of the wax is a barrier between the sun and the clear coat. Also after I wax my car I wait a few weeks before I think of washing it again. (If you do decide to wash your car weeks or months after you wax your car you should notice the soap/water sometimes even rain washes off the car like smooth silk; and no reason to apply another wax until you feel necessary. (most experts recommend 6 months in between wax coats or twice a year). Hope this helps!
That was pretty impressive. I was unaware of colored waxes, going to find some! One of my cars is an unusual color that some say is grayish green, others say light brown/gray. Wonder if I can blend colors of wax to get the right color? Anybody try this before?

Looks real good, do you think it would be good to finish the sanding with with finer wet sand like 3000 Grit prior to polishing ?

That's how it's done🔥car will look good for the summer😎
What happens when the wax wears off? Apply more then? Just seems like more upkeep in the longterm for a short term gain. No?

I would still wax it Justin B. Assuming your clear coat is decent, the wax will add another layer of protection to your paint.
What is your opinion of clay and ceramic treatments?

Do not waste your money like I did! The only color that may work is black. Good luck.
Can windshield scratches be removed
I was wondering that too
Some glass scratches can be removed or reduced.
Thanks ❤
