I hope you are monetized! It doesn’t play commercials before or after your podcast so I’m assuming you aren’t, but I would be very supportive if you were. I think you’re earning it and you deserve compensation for your work. I know it’s none of my business but I think you deserve it for the work and time you put into something that is helping people see JW through a great lens. Maybe TH-cam gods make it complicated and there’s deeper reasons why you’re not. Regardless you’re really doing a community service with your podcast! Cheers!

Boom! Mike drop! Again. You couldnt possibly describe my exact thoughts any better. When I left, I had discovered that Jehovah & the GB had given themselves & the Org disgusting reputations & I was ashamed to have been a part of it. Yes, exactly, psychopaths. I literally felt dirty! I had to leave to maintain the very integrity they instilled in me. When I tried to point it out to my family, I wondered how they couldnt see it! Thank you so much for being a voice of reason & validating my thoughts. Please never apologize again for going long. I could listen all day. I put you on while Im working or when I cant sleep. What you are saying, needs to be heard. Im hoping my family will hear you someday, so please, never take it down! Back when I quit JW'ing, as a believing JW, I thought to myself, "Jehovah must see that I am doing this for the right reasons, in order to be honest and to not to lie to Him, so perhaps, because of that, He will spare me in Armageddon." With this part of the thought I was thinking of the loving Jehovah, the one that we'd all like to think Jehovah is, the public image for which we explain away the character flaws and the atrocities. However, it was not the end of the thought. It continued, "And if not, then He is not a god I'd want to serve and worship anyway."
At the time, of course, the second part of the thought was close to blasphemy to me - you're not to test Jehovah, after all, or to assume you know better than the Almighty. (I cannot clearly remember if I thought of the second part myself or if it originated from someone else. I wasn't in talks with exJW's back then, but I had one or two people that I did talk to.) In any case, it was one of the first cracks in my indoctrination - admitting that it might be that I just don't agree with God on issues like morality or what is justice. I already figured I was most likely doomed, since I'd not be going to meetings or to ministry, or anything else, so, what's the difference?
The God of Bible, and the God of JW's, is of a very dubious moral character - which is a really odd thing, because mostly the basic morals we have, stem from the Bible. Perhaps God is simply above the commandments of morality He gave to us, but if so, He probably shouldn't have made us in His image, with a sense of justice. 🤔While I enjoy pondering on these things, I am agnostic these days. I realize that I might be wrong, and there may be a God. If there is, and I am proven wrong, but initial thinking really hasn't changed. If the God turns out to be the God of Bible, as depicted in it, or even as the JW's teach, I want nothing to do with Him.

Could this happen? Well, he explained that John the Baptist was of the other sheep, and baptized Jesus and some of the apostles. Then he went on to ask whether there still was a call for gathering in more of the remnant. 'No, no more additions!' he said. 'That call ended way back there in 1931-35! There are no more additions. Who, then, are the few newly associated ones who are partaking of the Memorial emblems? If they are of the remnant, they are replacements! They are, not additions to the ranks of the anointed, but replacements."

I said if my child would be raped I would never let my child to be in that horrific situation again, will regret and will be guilty that I couldn’t protect my child. Aren’t we called children of God!? But what is He doing? Just watching His childrens suffer and suffer. I expected them to think, but they said Jah had suggested a date to end evil in His timetable and until that day Jah is the one who is much more feeling sorry about people suffering, He is more patient than us so we just need to wait for that day and be faithful. And told me to pray more. It’s a mystery to me, how people can say a reason like this and continue to praise this God. Hello Stacy and thank you for this last video. The only mouthpiece of God on earth ? We all remember what Jeffrey Jackson said in the broadcasted Australian Royal Comission on CSA, and I quote : » I think that it would be presumptous to say that we are the only voice of God on earth » ... After saying that, why didn't he got disfellowshiped as an apostate, by the other GB members ? It's obvious that if any ordinary rank and file JW would have said the same thing, he would have been disciplined by an elder judicial comitee, or else, considered as an apostate and thrown out of the organization. Isn't this terrible ? It seems that there are very strict rules for the ordinary JWs that not must not be defied, but other rules for the GB members, that are allowed, whenever they are pleased. I am so angry ! This has nothing to do with christian truth. This is a man-made organization, period.

So, I always dismissed these horrible displays by God himself, but inside my mind and heart something didn't seem quite right. Then, when you wake up to your JW indoctrination and start to use critical thinking skills, you find out that Jehovah God and the Bible don't hold up to scrutiny and critical thinking either!!! The one thing interesting about the bible is that it can say anything the reader wants it to say. And what is more, the true God allows people to believe in the lie. He also limits who he allows to understand what the bible teaches. Matthew 11:25. There is no question the JW organization has the truth but as the bible states before the end comes there would be a great apostacy and the greater number of God's people will cool off. The love (a·gaʹpe) of many who professed belief in Jehovah God would cool off. (Mt 24:3, 12) Sounds about right.

@@survivingparadisepodcast It sounds to me like you all are the ones who have been lulled to sleep. Satan employs “empty deception” and “the elementary things of the world” to mislead and divide people. (Col. 2:8) In the 1st century CE, such things as philosophies based on human reasonings, unscriptural Jewish teachings, and the teaching that Christians must observe the Mosaic Law were deceptions that took people’s attention away from the true Source of wisdom, Jehovah God. As we speak Satan is pushing the same rhetoric that includes religion and politics. Jehovah’s Witnesses listen to the guidance given by the JW organization to avoid the undue anxieties experienced by those who listened to the world's disinformation.-Matt. 24:45. The other issue is that Jehovah God chooses who he allows to understand his word the bible. If the person does not know what the bible teaches, they could not possibly know what the truth is.
(Matthew 11:25) At that time Jesus said in response: “I publicly praise you, Father, Lord of heaven and earth, because you have hidden these things from the wise and intellectual ones and have revealed them to young children.

@@munch670 1st the true God had the bible written for all of mankind but only if the individual has the right heart condition. Look up what heart means in the bible. See the verses below
(Matthew 11:25) At that time Jesus said in response: “I publicly praise you, Father, Lord of heaven and earth, because you have hidden these things from the wise and intellectual ones and have revealed them to young children.
(Matthew 13:10-15) So the disciples came and said to him: “Why do you speak to them by the use of illustrations?” 11 In reply he said: “To you it is granted to understand the sacred secrets of the Kingdom of the heavens, but to them it is not granted. 12 For whoever has, more will be given him, and he will be made to abound; but whoever does not have, even what he has will be taken from him. 13 That is why I speak to them by the use of illustrations; for looking, they look in vain, and hearing, they hear in vain, nor do they get the sense of it. 14 And the prophecy of Isaiah is being fulfilled in their case. It says: ‘You will indeed hear but by no means get the sense of it, and you will indeed look but by no means see. 15 For the heart of this people has grown unreceptive, and with their ears they have heard without response, and they have shut their eyes, so that they might never see with their eyes and hear with their ears and get the sense of it with their hearts and turn back and I heal them.’
The 2nd issue is that Christ Jesus did die for our sins, but the real test was his growing up as a perfect human with no prehuman knowledge of heaven to prove that a perfect human could live a life free of sin with Satan's influence. Jesus Christ death was not the real test.
Why was this important? Most of the human race will be brought back from the dead to be judged under a righteous kingdom not controlled by Satan. At the end of Christ 1000 year reign a final test is made of the integrity and devotion of all such earthly subjects. Satan is loosed from his restraint in the abyss. Those yielding to his seduction do so on the same issue raised in Eden: the rightfulness of God’s sovereignty. This is seen by their attacking “the camp of the holy ones and the beloved city.” Since that issue has been judicially settled and declared closed by the Court of heaven, no prolonged rebellion is permitted in this case. Those failing to stand loyally on God’s side will not be able to appeal to Christ Jesus as a ‘propitiatory helper,’ but Jehovah God will be “all things” to them, with no appeal or mediation possible. All rebels, spirit and human, receive the divine sentence of destruction in “the second death.”-Re 20:7-15.

OK ... well... "in the beginning"...yep....well, here's the problem, God made Jesus first, then he made the angels, then he made the earth, then man etc, but it's just that 'time' doesn't exist alone, there is only 'space-time' i.e no space then no time. The 'time' we know is simply a function of our own universe and is bound up with the 'space' of our universe. So no universe no 'time'. Without 'time' there is simply no 'first' or 'second', in fact even in our own universe the 'order' of events depends upon the viewpoint of the observer and can be different. So before the creation of the universe there was no time and no 'first' or 'second' of anything. There simply cannot be a 'firstborn' of all creation.

The point of the Old Testament was to give a large number of people a sense of belonging, control them, motivate them to fight and give them standards. Lots of the stories were stolen from other cultures and reimagined to suit the Hebrews. The point of the New Testament was to reimagine Jesus. Jesus was one of many revolutionaries who fight the Romans and lost. He was not the heavenly being Apostle Paul reinvented him to be nor was he interested in Gentiles. The difference between reality and the agenda/reinvention is why sometimes Jesus is a pacifist and other times he is a warrior. It is why sometimes he says to his followers to only focus on Hebrews and later he says go to the globe and preach. If you keep history in mind, the Bible makes sense. It was not meant to be true. It was not inspired by a divine being in the sky. It was a book of propaganda with stories made to support and agenda and truth was thrown away if it did not support the agenda. It was made by men and their followers.

You do whatever you must to have them and the burden is heavily on women. Again seen in some African cultures. And it explains Lot’s daughters behavior. In White America culture, it is okay to let a bloodline die out because you don’t want the hassle of a crying baby. No one will judge you for not having kids.
