Hey Danx, nice tutorial! Very well explained. I recently made a very similar system, but with the "percent time speed" as an analog tag value. When the user presses L1, it toggles between slow mo and regular speed, with the slow mo speed tweak-able in create mode (this allows for values greater than 100% and even time reversal to an extent). This value instantly modifies every objects speed to that percentage of their previous speed, and removes gravity, replacing it with a new acceleration proportional to the square of the percentage while in the slow mo state. It works quite well, but is only instantaneous at the moment, as the user cannot gradually change the "%time speed" tag, only toggle it on and off.

Also; instead of using microchips with batteries in them, I would love to see you explore using nodes as signal gates in the future. Again, same results you get here, but it potentially could result in less signal delay so it'd be cool to see this demonstrated also. :)

+David Collins there are many ways you could do this... depending on your skill level & preferred method/look. playing around with antigrav tweakers antigrav & damping can be effective & possibly the easiest method. just have it activate when you press your slow mo button &/or in the sackbots npc's have it reactive via tag sensor ;D
Here’s a suggestion for new players if you follow this tutorial and edit it you can make it do something completely different and it’s a great learning experience
can u make a pocket knife with a blade that can go in and out and make a rope with a tag to where if the blade touches the rope it will cut the rope in half?

In your top down sprite tutorial you place stickers the man to add shading and stuff but when I do it the sticker material disappears :( Can you please reply telling me how I can place stickers on sticker panel without it disappearing. Thanks!
+Brooklyn Robinson you need to add a base sticker first (I use white as you can change its colour using the sticker panel tweak) after that you can add shading etc.

If you put a bullet in an emiter and the bullet has movers on it . Wil it shoot the way your pointing if you have a gun with a grabber on it. Or wil the bullet only go left or right when it is triggert

Use a gyroscope ( figure it out ) then use a advanced mover at 4 speed and a advanced in out mover at 4 speed. wire left and right on the analog stick to the in out mover and up and down on the advanced movers up and down. DO NOT use the advanced mover's left and right. Done

junior of course, using the detection with the tag sensor (same as everything else) and dampening/antigrav. or you could go even more advanced with gamplay tweakers & character animation tweakers too!

Like I'm sure you've heard of sackboy.exe and there are a few sound effects that confuse me on how he got those. But have you played play.create.die level (I think that's the one or was it DO NOT PLAY THIS LEVEL?) baisic ally there's a segment where you are trapped where fire is coming down and you are there with sackboy.exe and if you escape that room, he gets burned and there's like this distorted scream he makes and I have no idea how he got that but I want to recreate it. Another sound effect is like this ambient-screeching noise that the creator uses a lot and I'm not sure how he got that so I'd hope you'd be able to help me out on sound effects like that.
+Funny Video Makers 002 just put alot of sound effect things in one microchip with different sounds. I found this out earlier making a level. Then when you activate the microchip that all go at the same time. Don't forget to use the sound modifer. ( you'll see it )

i'm sorry but this wasn't what i was looking for. i was looking to slow down players in a time field. great pseudo effects anyway for now. edit, i removed the tag sensing and only used one gravity tweaker that dampens movement. when the field is touched a broadcast chip is activated to the reach of the bubble and that's it. i've just use this to make a time bomb glove.
I used to watch this guy all the time but I never actually payed attention to anything he said lol.

Zaxton Hong that is very true, The ideal method would be to use movers (like in the bullet) but setting the 'on' to a speed of 0.

Use a character animation tweaker and select Sackboy generic then idle sit, if you want to be cool use into and outof animations

+junior Of course, it will work on anything, but you literally have to make slow motion for every single thing in your level that is dynamic.

Either combine sound effects or actually make the sounds, record it etc.
