Hi, Amy. I enjoyed watching the making of your new sewing room and I think it's wonderful. I am sure you are enjoying using it and I wish you all the best in your new space.
Looking forward to #3 video on Sewing Room updates. I too lean towards knits to sew but have listened to TH-camrs in the know about other fabrics. My husband also found 3 D printing and has made a few sewing related things for me. Love your sewing room, new paint colors and flooring. If you are not a viewer of When calls the heart yet, please join the Hallmark channel on Sunday nights at 9:00 pm. This program is set in Canada years ago when cars and phones first came out. I think you may become a fan too, wondering if Elizabeth will choose Lucas or Nathan.
Awe, thank you! I do have fabric for sale - I was overly ambitious when purchasing for my knit stash, and there's no way I'll be able to work my way through it all. :-D
Looking good! Can't wait to see it finished. Do you watch Costuming Drama? She got this really neat wool felt pressing pad that she puts on her cutting table to iron/press fabric and projects. She swears by it and says she's probably not going to go back to using her ironing board ever again. She has a link to where she got it in her latest video of her Merida bustle dress overskirt. think you might like it, too.
Fun to see the progress you are making - it’s a process right? Consider a cart/ironing station - Karen Brown did a cool DIY version - given your talents I suspect it’d be easy for you!
Thank you, Lynn! I was actually thinking that I would create some sort of ironing station after my permanent table is finished. I am weighing the options of a gravity feed iron that could be mounted to a rolling pressing cart.
What a hard-working, capable woman you are!
I love all the space you have. 😀😀😀
Really mice!
Looking good.
I think this is a great space. Congratulations!
Thank you!
Great space! Got a few ideas from your room to make mine better. Thanks for sharing.
Yey for new space to work in! Can't wait to see what new projects you are going to be making in the future!
Thank you! I am really excited to have space to work on all the BIG projects in my brain!

Such a great space! Can we get a tour of your machines?
Absolutely! Is there anything you'd like to know specifically?
I’d be curious to know how much you got rid of as you went through everything. It’s always a prime time to declutter as you organize.
I have gotten rid of so much, and I will still be going through stuff and decluttering as we build my shelving units, I'm sure!

YES! I just watched that video, and I was seriously thinking about that pressing mat.
