@@ToolsElectroDIY It is especially something to watch out for in old houses. You can put all your pictures and stuff up level, then quickly realise you deliberately need to fuck them up, or they just look wrong relative to everything else.

Not being centered is throwing it off. I would have installed a backboard and anchored to 2 studs. Then you could have centered the mount.
