  • This is the second video in a short course where I talk about what a horoscope is, what is in a horoscope, and how to move around it a bit. I also talk about some of the basic tools we use with the horoscope such as planetary periods, sign periods and transits. This is the course for people who are completely new to astrology.
    In your horoscope, the planets play a crucial role in indicating what's happening and how different interactions are taking place throughout the chart. Understanding the planets is essential to grasp the dynamics of astrology. In this course, we'll delve into some fundamental aspects of planets to help you gain focus on their significance.
    The planets represent conscious entities within your chart. They shape your consciousness, influencing how you think and determining your needs and preferences. By analyzing the placement of these celestial bodies in your horoscope, we can paint a comprehensive picture of your unique consciousness.
    As you navigate through life, every choice you make consciously contributes to shaping your reality. Similarly, each planet plays its part by governing specific signs. For example, Leo is ruled by the Sun while Cancer is governed by the Moon. These planetary rulers impart distinct qualities to their respective signs.
    Join us as we explore further insights into understanding planetary influences and uncovering their impact on our lives!

    OMG got 12th lord in the 8th hse ;) Placement of the lord of the 12 in the 8th is not Parivartan yoga,but a viprit yoga yielding unexpected benefits during the major period of Mercury.
    Residence at faraway places from birth and earnings from unexpected and unexplained resources are expected.
    is a powerful and hopeful yoga that promises total achievement in life, but only after conquering various challenges.
    This yoga bestows the native with wealth, is winner on enemies and gets fame

    Hello dear Ernst, thank You again so much, I am starting to learn also with your videos and books, just beginning. Wondering, how the view of the world (cosmovision), the implicit dualistic worldview can affect the interpretations, the way to use and feel about the meanings/information. And also, and this is my question, could it be that Jupiter in the 5th house speaks for no children and no marriage because of the 'big nature of Jupiter'? I mean if the 5rh house means creation then no 'needing' a spouse and no 'needing' or having time for children but for other just creative responsabilities like the dedication to acompany for example consciousnes growth o spirituality. Would theses explain this for example in a non dualistic way of thinking huband allways good, and children allways good, needed or the best desirable? This basis for interpretation in what we held for desirable, good or implied meaning is so much of my interest, also since we are in big shifts times, this example question is very of my interest, thank You so much for all you share and dedicate to!

    What if all planets are in Aquarius 1st house (except for Moon in Pisces)?
    What if all planets are in one corner (Rahu corner) and no planets (except for Ketu) anywhere else? This is also an Aquarius 1st house, w Rahu+Sun in 2nd.
    Thoughts anyone?

    Hello. I just calculated my chart using your software on your website. It looks like you’re using the tropical zodiac and dividing the chart using house cusps. Is this right?

    • @ErnstWilhelm
      @ErnstWilhelm  4 ปีที่แล้ว +6

      I use tropical signs with sidereal nakshatras and I don't use the cusps to divide up the chart but as important points in the chart.

    Pisces - when interpreting Pisces, I understand Jupiter is the historic ruler, and Neptune a modern influence -
    What would be the rule of thumb for understanding Pisces, Ascendant - Jupiter/Neptune for: one that "uses the Vedic information for interpretation and Western for the planet placements" (I refer to this as "the clock"). ?
    But there's a lack of direction on this point, per my searching via Google and TH-cam, (no available instruction)
    Yogas - I would have to had begun studying Astrology at 12!
    A definite handbook requirement.

    In the talk on yogas you fail to mention the first thing Parashara teaches on yogas, which is checking the strength of Sun and Moon as well as argala which gives definite results. This is important, perhaps it is covered in your paid course. Since Parashara clearly teaches the usage of Rahu/Ketu co-ruling Aquarius/Scoprio I am curious what your methodology is for deciding what to take from that text and not.

    Would like to ask for the case of "Rom&Jul" yoga:
    Woman is Scorpio asc. with
    Venus in Pisces (7th in the 5th) BUT
    Jupiter in Taurus (5th in the 7th) with Ketu and Moon
    Marriage happened in Rahu Dasa and now is Jupiter D... is there a risk of marriage?
    Thanks a lot🌟

    Could I say that natural dignity is how I use the qualities of the planets but combined dignity is the results/outcomes the planet will give, especially during the dasha.
    For example, Mercury in Libra but has Neutral dignity. So the person can use mercurial qualities fairly well since Libra is a friend sign, but having a combined dignity of neutral shows the outcomes of that planet in life events, e.t.c.
    Is this the right way to think of it?

    • @ErnstWilhelm
      @ErnstWilhelm  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Natural relationships are used for lajjitaadi avasthas whcih show how we use a planet. Combined are used for deeptaadi avasthas, which determine the circumstances surrounding us.

    You mentioned that the Exaltation of the Grahas are even stronger than Moolatrikone position. Does this means the exalted Grahas gets more points in Shad Bala (more awakened/ conscious) than in their than in their Moolatrikone position?

    36:40 The 7th lord in 5th or vice versa can give affair. Is it possible the 9th lord in 7th or the 7th lord in 9th can do the same since the 9th is bhavat bhavam of 5th house of love. Or will the 9th lord give strong enough commitment to stick to one marriage?

    • @ErnstWilhelm
      @ErnstWilhelm  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      no, not at all. the 7th and 9th combined make for a marriage minded person and reduces affairs. If a person with that has an affair, its due to something else and that affair would not happen without a lot of consideration and need. The 5th/7th falls into affairs very easily without much thought.

      first, make sure you chart is calculated correctly by getting it at www.vaultoftheheavens.com using the free chart calculator on the right of the page. BUt yes, Saturn in scorpio for cancer lagna will not have luck with kids OR husband. Mars in gemini in 12th makes it more of a problem.

    I understood that any planets in the same house will create a 'planetary war', even if they are friendly to each other; so are you suggesting that they can benefit each other if they are in the same house as long as they are friends?

    • @ErnstWilhelm
      @ErnstWilhelm  6 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Its not exactly like that, two planets in the same house are temp enemies to each other, but that is used for determining dignity, not what the planets are doing to each other. FOr what the planets are doing to each other, you look at the natural relationships. So two friend in the same sign together will be helping each other out and so doing more between the both of them.

    • @teresaking4039
      @teresaking4039 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      I think I get it. So, say SA VE & ME are together they probably do ok but if VE & ME are with, the SU or MA most likely suffer? I guess there so many variants like the sign and the house they are in and Digbal strength too. If this is too complicated to answer fully here, maybe you will be doing a clip on it soon. Thanks for responding to my question.

    • @ErnstWilhelm
      @ErnstWilhelm  6 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      You just have to know the rules and then its quite simple. And you also have to know the yogas. SOmetimes venus su and me are great yogas. Saturn is never good to a planet he is with, but he can form yogas with that planet, so you have to learn the basic rules of the Avasthas, and the yogas.

    • @ErnstWilhelm

      you can use shad bala to evaluate, but its not necessary, you can just use aspects and conjunctions as that is what creates them.
