It seems they want to make it impossible to get it so going off of that, to keep things fair I think instead of them removing it they should just make it a crazy high kill streak like 45-50 instead of removing it altogether.
The dna bomb is kinda useless if you really think about it cause after 25 streak, you'll get like 6 or 10 k1lls depending on game mode and that's it. While the mgb at least was rewarding cause you'll automatically get a win cause of game ending.
The one thing I wish they brought back and maybe black ops 6 does this is that you can select any 3 kill streaks, like no limitations because precision and cruise missile are in the same tier etc
I dont mind too much either way, however I am going to Agree/Disagree. Biggest issue if anything is that Covert Sneakers has Zero counter play, and I dont agree that any perk should have Zero counters there's nothing more annoying then dying to no audio with the fact that there isnt a counter perk like in the other games is kinda dumb. I do not mind lowering footsteps in order to not give people none super human hearing but the route cause still is the perk itself with no counter, I feel like the Bone Conduction headset should still hear covert sneakers regardless because this is the main reason I have to use them is that there isnt a counter so its either abuse a perk and not die or dont abuse the perk and die to that perk. So this wont change anything because its a Crutch Perk.
Sad they got rid of the nuke/MGB (even though i never got close to earning one). Loved that there was a way to insta-end a game if you're playing so well
It could easily make sense to have both. I guarantee there's a big discrepancy in the community between players who can get a 25 gun streak and players who can do 30.
So the dna bomb takes 25 kills to earn and in standard 6v6 can only get a max of 6 kills? Feels underwhelming compared to a jug or vtol that can pretty easily match that if not do better for much less

How do they touch the MCW 6.8 but not fix the 30 round mag and the 60 round mag? They still can't be equipped in multiplayer games how did they not realize that the gun has been broken since Season 3 reloaded?
I don't get why they make killstreaks harder to earn. CoD was always about earning killstreaks and chaining kills with them to insanity. From MW2019 they are so hard to earn and so weak compared to their old counterparts, it doesn't make sense...
Why is it still that when you get the final blow on a sentry turret, you get no points but if you help someone (and not do the final hit), you get points as Scrap Assist? Makes no sense!

The dna bomb should have been there from the start,so many 25+ streaks...condidering there's no looping of kill streaks it's so hard to get the last 5...the team mates almost never call a freaking uav too 😅😅
I have the perk to make me invisible to AI scorestreak and use armor piercing round lmg to take them out so maybe I'll have to put more bullets, but they will still not be able to see me while doing so, so no really big change for me. Not sure about choppers gunners but they will still not be able to directly spot me and 1 second can make a difference. As for the MGB it is still in the game, I did a game against bots to try out DNA bomb and turns out if you reach 30 kills without dying and without scorestreak (so not launching DNA bomb, or you can but will need 5 kill more with only your gun) you will get the MGB which will end the game so you basically can have two nukes in one game now, the first being a warning that you are close to ending this game and the second being game over
can u check and see if they've stealth changed streaks looping? i just played in a match where my streaks looped 3 times without me dying... now to be fair i was running low end streaks so idk if it was a bug, a change or if it was due to the mode i was in
My big issue with score streaks is placable streaks like the cluster mine and the sentry get destroyed when you die in search and destroy if there's still time left in the round, the number of time I've put a cluster mine down and after I plant or someone else does but then I die it disappears even tho I earned the streak, but they stay in the game in respawn if you die
I have tried it, you can get DNA bomb and MGB at the same time, if you get 25 Killstreak you will get DNA Bomb and if you get 30 Killstreak MGB will replace DNA Bomb
Such a joke that they keep inflating the kill requirements of streaks. A harrier strike in mw2 was 7 kills. Now a harrier is 11 kills. Make it make sense. No wonder why streaks are so bad in this game. They just aren't worth it for how many kills u need
I loved using the stealth bomber in MWII and was kinda confused as to why it became harder to get with MWIII being it was the exact same and was never anything crazy... Literal lower end streaks that were way better. Good to see these changes to it... make it worth the value plus the buffs it got.
Idk if this is a bug but I seem to be earning killstreaks even if I'm not actively killing anyone. It happens when I have my uav activated, and my killstreak bars turn blue. It seems so busted that I was able to call in 2 carpet bombs in a span of 10 seconds
now I'm pretty sure this is a bug, but I've been able to earn the scorestreaks twice without dying, and it felt amazing just like old cods used to be ( the footage is in my channel )

So, my killstreak choices are not working. I chose my 3 and the game keeps NOT giving me what I chose. The game is forcing UAV, SAE, and Cruise missle. FYI
I think something might be bugged with the hardline perk. In 10v10 once I got my uav, counter uav, and advanced uav I would get so much score that it was almost impossible not to get another advanced almost instantly. Could just be a 10v10 thing but the amount of score I was gettting was absurd.

Nice to see the change to the Swarm ending on death, though I honestly thought that was an intended feature. Extremely disappointed to learn that the DNA Bomb REPLACES the MGB. I was so looking forward to being able to call in multiple DNA Bomb a game, then call in an MGB right at the end to guarantee the victory for the team. Really sucks that won't be possible :( I don't see why they can't keep both, like they initially indicated would be the case. EDIT: After playing the update, I've learned that streaks loop in ALL game modes. I though it was gonna be restricted to a specific playlist. That's dope. Honestly, this season is really really bad and im really over this MW2/3 engine gameplay we've had with this awful ui system. I'm just sick of it. 1. MP ranked rewards are non existent.....again 2. WZ Ranked rewards are worse then last season 3. Scorestreaks nerfed to the ground....as if they werent under whelming as it is? 4. ....Why is Soap a Zombie now? Stupid. 5. 200K XP for a gun camo is INSANE on top of finishing up things from last season w 150K! If youre a completionist, this is ridiculous even if you play COD a lot. 6. Paris feels like a basic generic map with hiding spots and slow and boring. 7. Giving me a great sniper doesnt make up for the fact that theres literally NOTHING new this season. So tired of old modes coming "later on" and them rebranding it as new and stupid broken weapons you're forced to use for X period of time while 90 other guns are non existent at all and pointless to use. They really made this game for casuals and are balancing it that way and how they are not giving WZ big map ranked really shows they dont care. X Defiant is where its at right now. At least that game has fun exciting gameplay and the weapons are balanced really well!
The sae stun effect gave it flavor even though i died to it alot now its an expensive lightning strike. Overall i think im unhappy with the changes except the spawn protection but ill still play. Might be hard to enjoy since kar seems very broken

I find it odd that I rarely see higher end streaks in this game but they go and make them more difficult to earn.
They also seem to have toned down Sbmm so they should be easier to earn

Yeah same. I’m running Uav, cluster mine and sentry and they are definitely looping. Also the lobbies I’ve played seem WAY more fair than usual
It's a bug. It was intended for one playlist (Hyper Cranked?) but is applying to all of them. Classic SHG.

I have tried it, you can get DNA bomb and MGB at the same time, if you get 25 Killstreak you will get DNA Bomb and if you get 30 Killstreak MGB will replace DNA Bomb

Did they allow the killstreaks to stack? And can you earn killstreaks from killstreaks again??
Nice to see the change to the Swarm ending on death, though I honestly thought that was an intended feature.
Extremely disappointed to learn that the DNA Bomb REPLACES the MGB. I was so looking forward to being able to call in multiple DNA Bomb a game, then call in an MGB right at the end to guarantee the victory for the team. Really sucks that won't be possible :(
I don't see why they can't keep both, like they initially indicated would be the case.
EDIT: After playing the update, I've learned that streaks loop in ALL game modes. I though it was gonna be restricted to a specific playlist. That's dope. Still wish I could have the DNA Bomb AND MGB tho

Kill streaks are more ass now no one is getting 11 kills in search and destroy to get a chopper gunner bring specialist back smh
Honestly, this season is really really bad and im really over this MW2/3 engine gameplay we've had with this awful ui system. I'm just sick of it.
1. MP ranked rewards are non existent.....again
2. WZ Ranked rewards are worse then last season
3. Scorestreaks nerfed to the ground....as if they werent under whelming as it is?
4. ....Why is Soap a Zombie now? Stupid.
5. 200K XP for a gun camo is INSANE on top of finishing up things from last season w 150K! If youre a completionist, this is ridiculous even if you play COD a lot.
6. Paris feels like a basic generic map with hiding spots and slow and boring.
7. Giving me a great sniper doesnt make up for the fact that theres literally NOTHING new this season. So tired of old modes coming "later on" and them rebranding it as new and stupid broken weapons you're forced to use for X period of time while 90 other guns are non existent at all and pointless to use. They really made this game for casuals and are balancing it that way and how they are not giving WZ big map ranked really shows they dont care.
X Defiant is where its at right now. At least that game has fun exciting gameplay and the weapons are balanced really well!

the DNA bomb is already in the game but its bugged, you cant earn it when using score to earn streaks, but with killstreaks you can.
I test 🧬 bomb on custom game, you can get it and also look like you can get the nuke

No additional Ground War maps 4 seasons in. Seems as if GW players were tricked into purchasing this title. There are only 3 maps in the GW rotation.
The IMS is fun, it dies quickly but still fun. It’s better on Domination and Hardpoint.

The sae stun effect gave it flavor even though i died to it alot now its an expensive lightning strike. Overall i think im unhappy with the changes except the spawn protection but ill still play. Might be hard to enjoy since kar seems very broken
