@@krxontxgo watch ranked play for dummies by methodz your biggest issue is likely you don’t know how to play the game. That’s most people’s problem is they don’t know what they’re doing. This isn’t just run and shoot there’s strategies and right and wrong plays especially in hardpoint. But no one knows them.
Record the gameplay and learn from your own mistakes is underrated. I should really do that. I struggle in my iridescent lobbies most of the times and maybe because I don’t play enough once I get there lol. But that makes a lot of sense
My last teammates decided to not touch point so I was the only one with time because "only one person needs to be on to score. Its what the pros do in matches" and called me a dumbass repeatedly. They changed their tune up real quick when I started mimicking their hardpoint allergy and explaining that nobody here is a pro while being top everything the entire time.
I’ve been playing comp cod for a long, long time and have recently started teaching others and this is the best summation I have ever seen. Really good stuff man.
Actually, as someone who solo queued Diamond, what you really need to work on is 1. Play on a PC with controller 2. Play with teammates that are equally as skilled and know the objectives/rotations. If you aren’t doing #2 you will not make it past Diamond, or you will, but it will take awhile and you will have to hard carry every game against teams that are mic’d up and are doing callouts and stacking rooms

As a diamond my weakest part of my game by a considerable margin is not being able to shoot straight, I used to be able to from cod 4 through to BO3 took time off had hand problems came back at mw2 and realised just how far I’ve fallen off since then 😂

Mo I finally made plat and I also learned a huge tip to get me to where I need to be. So I’ve been playing on regular tv settings and never had it on game mode… I swear when I switched my game play became wayyyyyy better at a not even funny lvl. My aim is a lot smoother and snappier and I hardly miss a shot now. I highly suggest this to others out there who are stuck gold. Also some glitches in my shooting was fixed due to this. Today we won 18 out of 20 games!!!
i solo queued from almost silver 1 back to bronze 2 losing every game always in the loser team against super sweaty tryhards while my teammates are afk, shooting at each other or don't play the objective
I’m Diamond 2 nd I definitely need to work on my team play my individual play is on point but putting it all together to make it work with the team is something I gotta work on this a W video 💯I even watched the gold/plat part of the video cause I want my cousin on my ranked team but he just refuses to look at the minimap n hold a position just straight gunny(which he still lacks in)
Ya ping and having a min 120hz screen helps some of that player gap too along with learning how to abuse the OP aim assist that this game gives noobs/everyone
Also, try to look for a team because playing with randoms will make it more difficult to level up. it's not impossible to get up there, but it will be challenging

im crim 1 and my biggest problem is i cant play consistent one game ill drop 12 in a snd against a full stack of iris and then drop 4 against normal crims the next game

Had this yesterday. First game warm up started very good for a warm up game. Next 3 absolutely beaming. Then all gone, next 3 horrible losses and was missing so much. Called it a day🙂
I been telling people this ever sense I first started playing rank and no one believes me and tells me just to get better. I pull off the same shots in both games I win and lose and the ones I win I end up on the top of the leaderboard and the ones I lose I lose the gunfights and I am on the bottom of the leaderboard.
Also if you're on console turn Crossplay off so you're at least not playing wall hackers yeah you'll probably come across some Cronus users but if you're already good everyone knows that cronus doesn't really make you that much better
I stopped the video when you went into gold. I’m a seasoned and old cod player. Started playing call of duty 2 in 2006. Been playing each game released since. Now, I’m very familiar with recoil control, ads speeds, what have you for your play style, and getting points for playing objective. I find myself getting first place in bronze every single match but can’t seem to move out of bronze. Why? Cuz playing ranked solo sucks, you can’t progress even if you’re good because you lose points when your team sucks.
Also, before I hear comments saying team up… I’m 32 with a kid at home. My friends don’t get on anymore to team up. I want to love cod like I used to but it’s just not the same man

Doesnt matter how accurate your shots are lmao if you have slow internet you are going to struggle. I play on a WIRED PC and i'm a Crim who got there mostly Solo, horrible teammates, horrible servers, maps play awful but I got there. Now I still randomly lose gunfights to Plats and Diamonds who are hardstuck and you can tell they arent great, but they win fights bc the server is favouring them on top of their internet being fast.

How many of you guys and gals have for sure shot someone first and didnt miss a bullet but yet you die and they live? Sbmm and hit detection are directly related in this game, as well as random ping spikes. Imagine having the fastest internet money can buy but still having ping spikes and dealing with server crashes. Im convinced that even content creators have found ways around all of the things ive just brought.
