here now 3rd time great location but walk in showers would be nice also i bring power strip because of electrical plugs. see you ate as same restaurant as we do .nice video
Lovely Lady. Heading to Hua Hin next early June. Praying for good weather as I really want to know where is the beach...not the bars. All the best to you
We stayed there for a month January 2020 in an executive room similar to yours, but the wallpaper was peeling off the walls (your room looked a lot nicer )and the electrical plugs are not very good for charging except for one. TV reception terrible. Beds not so comfortable for me with bad back. Good thing they had a bath to soak in. Just wondering if they have improved these. I. I would stay there again if they improved these. I did enjoy the location and their buffet breakfast was good.
I think the room you stayed in With the room we stayed in, different rooms, so we couldn't say that he had renovated. I think if the first time you don't like the room you used to live in You should go back there again. may be more impressive As for the two of us, we really liked the room we stayed in. thanks for the comment 😊🙏
here now some rooms better than others this is third time here for us. went and bought power strip at 7/11 because of plug problems. this room is much nicer than previous rooms but we are on 6th floor this time with ocean view
I'm not sure whether Grab or Bolt taxi can come into the airport or not. We usually stay in Bangkok for one or two nights and then use Bolt taxi to go where we want. There is probably a a bus and train to Hua Hin also -- Dave
bus lower level of airport also 8 trains a day to Hua Hin from bangkok. taxi cost 2000 baht bus for two around 340 and train for air con is 480 for 2 non air is 240 baht for two
(Dave typing) from memory, the hotels nearest the beach are the Hilton Hua Hin Resort & Spa, Centara Grand Beach Resort and Villas Hua Hin (we featured The Standard Hua Hin in the video too, I believe). Here's a Google map link to help you choose, there are many hotels in this area (zoom out a bit, search "hotels" and you'll see a lot of options): maps.app.goo.gl/Moj9TmywCkSVKkPEA
Deepinder Singh I'm sorry I can't tell you the exact price because it depends on where in Bangkok you get off and where you get off in Hua Hin, Cha-am, Prachuap Night Market, Hua Hin on. Within the city prices will vary.
(Dave typing) as with ll things hotel, the price changes with the seasonal demand. From memory, we paid about 1100thb using Agoda -- we generally find Agoda is cheapest and almost always cheaper than booking with the hotel direct (which is crazy as the hotel has to give Agoda 20-25% commission). www.agoda.com/sl/t2v0qBWIxnD
@scottedod4236 Good morning from Thailand. Thank you very much for watching our video. Thailand is a beautiful country. Thai people welcome you all with big smiles. And here the weather is still good all year, the food is cheap. I hope you have time to come to Thailand as soon as possible. When you make enough money there You can move to Thailand easily☺️🙏
(Dave typing) with BTC surging at the moment, you mightn't have to wait long...! 🤩🥳 The biggest cost to a Thailand trip is getting here [from the UK]: flight prices have almost doubled since pre-COVID, expect to pay about £900+ economy return, sadly. However, once you're here you'll find yourself constantly remarking on how much better value most things are in Thailand, when compared to the UK (with a few notable exceptions; cheese, wine and brand-name products such as perfume, trainers, etc.). Some of the best Thai food I've ever eaten has been £1-2 and even familiar Western food at a restaurant is significantly cheaper than in the UK (I usually pay £3-5 for a full English breakfast, although you can also find it for about 99 baht/£2.20 if you look harder). A bottle of local beer is about £1.30-£2.60 in a normal bar, about £4 in a nightlife venue with "entertainment" (such as hostesses, who can be interesting to talk to). You'd struggle to pay more than £6.50 for a beer anywhere, unless you're sat 50+ stories atop a sky bar in a 5 star hotel in Bangkok. Because the flight is the main cost, my advice is to come for as long as you can each trip, 3 weeks minimum. If it's your first time in Thailand, then I recommend that you move around a bit, trying out different locations for 4-7 days at a time, depending on what you like, e.g. city = Bangkok (stay Sukhumvit Road area, near BTS SkyTrain) or Chiang Mai, Island = Koh Samui or Phuket (Phuket has changed a lot and isn't such good value now, and without a car it's a bit of a pain), beach = Hua Hin or Pattaya (it's either heaven or hell, but you have to see it to know). Internal flights are quite cheap (under £50), and taxis (use the Bolt of Grab app) are astonishing value. Honestly, I've never met anyone that didn't absolutely fall in love Thailand as a Western tourist. The Land of Smiles will steal your heart, as it has mine. Come!
