Judge McBurney handled Mr. Pritchett with such patience as always. The defendant is truly going to regret acting this way and not having an attorney represent him if he gets convicted and spends the foreseeable future in prison.
He got 40 years and won't be eligible for parole until he's served 35 years. The plea offer was not accepted and would have been a 20 year sentence.😅😅😅 The jokes on you Mr Pritchett a living man.
Your honor, well done. Just well done sir. You have the patience of Job with this young man. These sovereign citizens try to delay the trial as much as they can and you kept your composure with decorum and brilliant sarcasm lol major props sir. That was impressive
It was a bit of a giveaway when the only question "the accused" asked all day to a witness was "What color were your Air Jordan's?" I think he thought the shoes that they stole were a different color than the ones in the picture, but the witness explained how the black light made them look more green than they actually were...
Been to Atlanta. Would never go again…. Ever. Filthy city and we were basically accosted every 10 steps by homeless people asking for money. There is absolutely no police presence downtown… At least not when we were there. Very scary.
And it has oozed out of its boundaries and is swallowing the surrounding counties with its filth. What was once a lovely community now has bars on the windows of stores and vagrants pushing shopping carts and drugs every night at the gas station that is no longer safe to go to if you are a female alone at night.
I still can't stop laughing that this tick had the option to take 20 years (that he was already serving) to skip this trial entirely and instead he decided to go into this with Jesus as his legal counsel. This better end up on the Funniest Self-Inflicted Wounds of 2024.
The jury reached their verdicts yesterday, and now I'm going back to watch the parts of this trial that I missed. As I listen to the Defense lawyer's opening statement, it occurs to me that maybe her characterization of Mr Robinson wasn't so far off. Maybe (only maybe) he was an innocent poor young man when he made those rap videos for the reasons she depicted. If so, it is possible to sympathize with him in spite of those incriminating images. But that innocence ended the night he went with Lauren, Lyndsey, Rick/Maxx to the Wylie street house and participated in a brutal armed robbery. Maybe even Maxx was the only one whose hands did the brutal violence. But Robinson involved himself, and he got caught and convicted, and now he has to go to prison. And that is fair, because he did choose to involve himself in the armed robbery, and the robbery did turn into a brutal assault. No doubt his family loves him, and I hope they will be able to be a positive presence in his life as he lives on behind bars. But as the saying goes, "You do the crime, you do the time."
Whoa! Why are the faces of jurors being captured on camera?! Completely uncool! Jurors should remain anonymous. There could be severe retaliation from certain defendants and this guy is potentially one of those individuals.
As the judge mentioned before the lunch break, it was a live Zoom proceeding open to the public. No different than if you were there witnessing it with your own eyes… Not to mention it wasn’t a full frontal shot of the jurors, it just so happened to catch them swearing in at a side profile. Relax, it didn’t seem like the judge wasn’t too concerned.
The first witness from the party was talking to the jury when the judge left with the attorneys 🤦🏼♀️ thankfully it was nothing of substance but still not appropriate
Did anyone else notice that juror’s were shown, 3:30m33, going for their luach break? Cuz I did. Saw three female jurors while the were being giving the oath. Curious & sus.
Can anyone explain to me this "RULE 22" thing? This particular content might have been a livestream in the past, streamed to some kind of platform. (zoom?) But the "LIVE" part has clearly ended. At this point, this has turned into a VOD. (Video On Demand) Also, should I even care about this RULE 22, while I live in Europe, and have zero plans on ever visiting the divided states of America?
State so crooked. Why give this guy immunity when he clearly admitted to selling illegal drugs in that house? This just goes to show the State ain't right. Let's prosecute some people and let some go. Where is the justice in that?
@@whitway12Just because it’s common practice doesn’t make it make sense. It’s certainly not justice and doesn’t keep the public safe. “Lower level” crimes can easily turn into bigger situations in the heat of the moment.
@@tajiri7think about it this way. What if someone killed your loved ones. And the only eye witness was a drug dealer. And the drug dealer won’t testify without immunity to lock up the murderer. Wouldn’t you want the drug dealer to get away to let the murderer of your loved one go to prison for life? I mean this has been going on for centuries all over the world. That drug dealer will have immunity for PAST crimes. And now they have a well known drug dealer for future crimes on their radar. But drugs are different. If a drug dealer goes down, another one pops up. Cops would rather control the traffic and know where it’s coming from than not knowing. That way if someone is selling deadly drugs like fentanyl, they have an idea where it’s coming from. While I agree, crime is crime and shit could really turn sideways in the heat of the moment, there’s at least a method to the madness
@@phil-f716 Eye witness testimony is overwhelmingly the least credible source of evidence in a trial. Even worse coming from a drug dealer looking to get off charges. Plenty of people have gotten on the stand and lied so they could get a reduced sentence. Which is also why relying on snitches is dumb. Hedging a trial on that is almost always lazy/bad police work. We are seeing people get found innocent everyday after serving years in prison due to “reliable witness testimony”. I’d hope the detectives do their jobs and investigate properly, to collect enough factual information and evidence to convict the murderer. Like they are paid and relied on to do. And to lock up the drug dealer separately(who has probably helped cause more death and destruction to communities than the murderer anyway).
The guy who got his lime green shoes stolen referred to himself as a "kid " at least a half dozen times during his testimony. Creepy little Eddie Haskell.
Of all the things in the world that doesn't make any sense to me, it is gang ish... like why? What you get out of if? Prison and death? For what? So it makes me disgusted to think of those involved in one. What I trust even less than these thugs, it's the government, and their ilk. I'm at an impasse for sure
Judge, I was a LEO in NJ and have been in many trials. Your initial jury instructions are the best I've ever heard! Well done sir.

the Judge is trying to move the case along by asking the questions for the state 😂

Ty for the times. It can be frustrating trying to fast forward. As a retired Courtrm clerk, I absolutely love this Judge.
This Judge in YSL trial is awesome, compared to the other YSL Judge, Glanville. Good to see a fair trial in Fulton county.
Agreed. Night and day difference from Judge Glanville

Strange you can see the first row of the jury being seated

Wow. Sad to hear that Atlanta has become San Francisco.
Well done Judge, you handled that nitwit Pritchett very well.
Should these clearly out of law school Prosecutors really be in charge of putting on a case of this magnitude????
😂😂😂
They're up against a Sovereign Citizen. C'mon. They could be two pieces of bread with a racoon in the middle and sent him to prison for life.

Darrell Brooks disciple
How could he ever think giving up that deal would be a good decision?!!
He believed the TH-cam videos on how to defend yourself. He missed the videos on how the earth is flat. 😅

No way he speaks in a monotone face has no expression and asks no questions on cross.
People like Pritchett should get life in prison. To let him or people like him out of jail makes the community unsafe.
He's young, immature, uneducated and extremely violent. Someone died in one of the home invasions.
