How has Game Freak not made a Poké Ball for Ice types called the Snow Ball yet?
Maybe it could also increase its chances the more times you use it in an encounter?

The "Last Chance" ball. This one works like a regular pokeball, but when it's your last pokeball in your inventory the capture rate goes up depending on how many other pokeballs you have thrown that battle.

Ball Ball: A Pokéball that makes it easier to catch round Pokémon (such as Voltorb and Electrode).

Some ideas I came up with:
*Soil Ball*: Increased catch rate against Grass types
*Dojo Ball*: Same as the Soil Ball, but for Fighting types
*Magma Ball*: Works well for Fire/Ground/Rock types
*Reverse Ball*: Catch rate increases the higher the wild Pokémon's hp (lowers when afflicted with a status condition)
*Spirit Ball*: Can be thrown at a Pokémon after it fainted
*Clutz Ball*: High catch rate, but only remembers one move after caught. (Moves can of course still be remembered when you use a Heart Scale, the one move left is randomly decided)
*Toy Ball*: Works well for baby Pokémon
*Sky Ball*: Works for flying Pokémon (also affects pokémon floating, even if their ability is not Levitate, Geodude for example)
All of the you ideas after the first three are complete garbage.

*The Waste Ball:* The more Waste Balls you use during a battle, the more powerful they become.
(For example, you use a Waste Ball, and it has a x0.5 catch rate. However, the ball fails to catch your target. Then the next Waste Ball you use has a x1 catch rate, but that also fails. So the you use another waste ball, and it has a x2 catch rate, and so forth. Just an example.)

I somehow caught a dhelmise, a mudsdale, and a goomy in beast balls (I did the calc for dhelmise and it turned that catch rate to .1, or maybe that was the % chance, either way super low)

you can easily catch anything in a beast ball but tbf very few pokemons color match it.
pester ball looks like the firefox logo. also i like the money ball status symbol idea. it would be cool to have an endgame pokeball that lets people know just how badass you are. although if they added something like that they would need to add an option to change the pokeball one of your pokemon are in with one of the ones in your bag.

The Trade ball. Allows Pokemon caught by it that evolve by using trades evolve at level 40.
this sounds genius but i just don't think it can happen, game freak keeps some pokemon only obtainable by trading to encourage player interaction
I think it would be cooler if there was a ball that if you caught a trade to evolve pokemon in it would evolve by friendship and if you caught a friendship evolution it would evolve by trade.
I was hoping the money ball would go something like this, when you throw it, spend a certain amount of money, and the more money you spend the higher the catch rate; something like that.

The Go Ball could give you a higher capture rate for each player you’ve recently connected with locally. Continues the Go themes of getting out and meeting new people, and encourages players to visit events.

i have few pokeball ideas.
leveling ball: it's boring to grind.
1x catch rate (it has to catch stuff). when you catch a pokemon with the leveling ball, their level instantly increases by a random number from 5 to 20.
modern ball: don't you want to catch all the new pokemon?
1x catch rate normally. 3x catch rate when you use it on a pokemon that was introduced in the generation you're playing in.
catch 'em all ball: go with the theme song.
1x catch rate normally. 3x catch rate on pokemon that aren't in your pokedex/that you haven't caught yet.
legendary ball: it's hard to catch legendary pokemon.
1x catch rate normally. 10x catch rate on legendaries.
ko ball: why can't you catch pokemon you've beaten?
1x catch rate, but you can use it after you've ko-ed an opposing pokemon to catch it.
trainer ball: so trolly...
0.5x catch rate, but can catch trainers' pokemon. not real people's pokemon, though.
shiny ball: shiny hunting is hard.
1x catch rate normally. 5x catch rate when used on a shiny pokemon.
weak ball: you still have to go with the theme song, even against the weakest pokemon.
1x catch rate normally. 5x catch rate against pokemon with a base stat total less than 50.
I have some notes:
1. the leveling ball should only raise the Pokémon’s level by 1, 5-20 is ridiculous especially early on
2. As for the catch ‘em all ball, most people only capture Pokémon when they haven’t caught one already, unless it’s shiny
3. x10 catch rate is too OP, even for legendaries, reduce it to something like x5
4. Maybe you should make it so that you only control your opponents Pokémon for this battle

Sunny ball/ Rain ball/ Snow ball. Works depending on weather conditions like if sunny day, rain dance etc. was played.
How about a ball called the Charm Ball? This ball would get more powerful the more charm balls you throw, being able to go up to about 6x or 7x possibly. The name comes from the oval and shiny charm, as well as the phrase, third time's the charm.
S&M has finally added another new Poke Ball.
We did see the beast ball in Sun and moon, so atleast thats new.

I haven't seen the entire video, but I have 2 designs!
1. Item ball: When caught, a common item is givin to the pokeball. (Potions to Z crystals)
2. Mew ball: The ONLY poke ball that can catch mew. Expensive, but worth it.
In this one video, well actually a lot of videos from Jwittz, I’ve seen more creativity, ingenuity, and passion than I have in the main series in a long time. Still play them, though, just kinda wish Jwittz were part of the creative process because a lot of his ideas are things that would make the games more popular and fun.
Here are my suggestions for new Poke Balls:
Match Ball: Increased catch rate if at least one of your Pokemon's types matches the one you're trying to catch.
Neutral Ball: Increased catch rate on genderless Pokemon.
Forecast Ball: Increased catch rate on Pokemon that benefit from the current weather condition.
Effort Ball: Increases the EVs a Pokemon gains when caught with this ball.
Struggle Ball: Catch rate increases as the Pokemon's PP goes down.
Pinch Ball: Increases catch rate the lower your Pokemon's HP is.
Final Ball: Greatly increased catch rate if it's the last one you have.
Holiday Ball: Increased catch rate when used during certain holidays (e.g. Christmas, New Year's).
Trap Ball: Increased catch rate on Pokemon trapped by moves such as Wrap or Fire Spin.
Midnight Ball: Increased catch rate if used during midnight.
Buff Ball: Increases catch rate the more boosted the Pokemon's stats are.
Nerf Ball: Inverse of Buff Ball.
All-Terrain Ball: Increased catch rate if a terrain is in effect.
Air Ball: Increased catch rate on flying/levitating Pokemon.
Nature Ball: Increased catch rate if the enemy Pokemon's nature matches your own Pokemon.
Urban Ball: Increased catch rate on Pokemon found in a town or city.
Focus Ball: Increased catch rate if your Pokemon focuses on the enemy Pokemon via moves like Lock-On first.
Dizzy Ball: Increased catch rate on confused Pokemon.
Evolve Ball: Increased catch rate on Pokemon that can evolve.

cyber dino I should have been more specific - the Midnight Ball would have a greater catch rate than a Dusk Ball, but only during the midnight hour. Any other time of night, and it'll only have the catch rate of a normal Poké Ball.

Rocket Ball...now you CAN capture someone else's Pokemon. Maybe the captured Pokemon would have a high rate of disobeying commands.
The Rocket Ball
has a 0.25 chance to catch other trainers pokemon, when caught the pokemon will always disobey and maybe hit itself, even if you are the champion
I figure the Rocket Ball could be like the Dark Ball from Pokemon 4ever, You can use this (possibly with the VS Seeker) to capture opponents Pokemon. It would have the catch rate of a normal Pokeball, though. But you can just weaken your opponents Pokemon like you would a wild one. Once the Pokemon has been captured, it's level will escalate to your active Pokemon's level while at the same time learning any new moves through level up. It's a bit of a cheatsy concept, I know but it has a better use than more modern balls. Plus maybe this could be acquired the same way you could get Team Rocket clothing via a Rocket Grunt selling merch.
What happens if you use a snagem machine on a rocketball?

The Sea Bait Ball - A blue camo print Pokeball with a hook on it's top. It catches pokemon with a x3 capture rate if the pokemon was found via a Fishing Rod, and has a small mini game where you mash a button to increase the capture rate from 3 to 5.
The Fruit Ball - Any Pokemon caught by the ball gets healing (like leftovers) if they have a grass type in their party and is designed to look like an Oran Berry.
The Bait/Food Ball - Can't catch any Pokemon, but makes them flinch for one turn, unable to switch or run away, and also heals the Pokemon it's thrown at the next turn (as much as leftovers for 1 turn) and looks like the Pokemon Food you throw in Pokemon Snap.
The Party Ball - Same as a Pokeball except extremely expensive, looks like a disco ball, and shoots confetti when releasing a Pokemon

The Reverse ball: Is better at catching Pokémon that are harder to catch, like ditto and most legendaries.
The Multi-Ball: One use will have 3 poke balls be thrown out, each with a .5 catch rate. This is good because it has 3x the chance for a critical catch.
The Super Risky ball: 7x catch rate, but you are forced to run away if the catch fails, and the game saves after, therefore ending the battle, and preventing you from attempting the battle again.
I may add more later.
The Delay Ball: You throw it, and then when the pokemon actually FAINTS it triggers with a 2x capture bonus.
I'm interested in them adding more balls, too. They have several designs I like and I like how they have different functions.
I think the main reason there's no dawn ball is to incentivize you to be strategic about when you play. If there was a day equivalent of the dusk ball, there would be nothing stopping you from only ever using these two poke balls over anything else.
Risk Ball: 10x catch rate, but it cause Pokémon to run after failure.
Frag ball/Grenade ball:
Damages a Pokémon if it breaks out of the ball
Shock ball:
Paralyzes a Pokémon of it breaks out
Flash ball:
Same catch rate as ultra ball:confuses Pokémon if they break out
The battle ball could also be a place for a mini game. Better performance at the mini game means a bigger bonus to the catch rate. Perhaps there could even be different mini games for the different types.
Oppressor Ball, increases catch rate if your pokemon's typing has an advantage over the wild pokemon's typing, ex: chimchar out in battle vs. Bellsprout, however going even (chimchar vs. grimer for example) is a x1 catch rate, and if it's your battling pokemon has type disadvantage (Chimchar vs. Magikarp for example) then the catch rate is x0.5
The region ball: they have a x2.5 catch rate against native species to the current region (IE: the ones that were released in the current generation). They're cheap and available fairly early on in order to help promote using local pokemon as opposed to exotic or invasive species.
Change Ball:
Nice for capuring pegendaries,for example,your trying to catch Tapu Koko,Your Decidueye uses false swipe lots of times,Tapu Koko haves 1 ps,ok,now,the electric battlefield finished,so,now,sleep him,so,to change to a pokemon with sleeping moves,what will you do?using a pokeball,the change ball lets you change pokemon while you get a chance of capturing the pokemon

Stun ball:
increases odds of catching a pokemon that is paralyzed, asleep, or frozen.
Made that one for an RP as an engineer and acted like TF2 Engie lol
Childhood memories ball:
It has a 5x catch rate if you use it with the starter you chose in the party, but it won't work with a fainted starter.
I've got one:
*The Apprise Ball*
This ball has a flashing light on the top half. You scan the wild pokèmon using the ball, and it will flash Ruby, Amber or Emerald. It can catch any pokèmon, but there's a catch; if flashing Ruby, the pokèmon needs to be at around 50 XP to catch. If Amber, it needs to be at half health. If Emerald, you can throw it as soon as you encounter a wild pokèmon. It will flash blue if captured. Also, if it is black, it is not currently in use .
*Appearance*
The Apprise Ball bares a single light on the top hemisphere, which is coloured Amber, Ruby, Emerald and Lapis. The light remains black when idle; please see above ⬆. The bottom half has a floaty silver poof covering a Sapphire blue hemisphere, which is encrusted with Moonstone.
*Has it ever failed?*
Yes. When trainers don't pay attention to the flashing lights, the ball will fail. If the light is Amber, and you apply the red rules to it, it is still possible to catch the pokèmon. Same with green and amber.
The custom ball. Basically it's a blank pokeball with a version for all base pokeballs so the pokeball great ball and ultra ball. Not sure how you'd gather them but you can collect decorations that allow you to completely customise the pokeball to your liking

I like the Go Ball idea. It might go over even better if certain ones had different minigames
3 ideas I have for balls.
1: The Muffler Ball. Has a 1.5 multiplier, and if it fails to catch a pokemon, then it's highest stat is significantly decreased for the rest of the battle.
2: The Thief Ball. Has a 0.5 multiplier, but it allows you to catch a trainer's pokemon, and promptly end the battle. Can only be found in the Villains Hideout at an infinite supply, but you need to buy it from a criminal at a high price (because it's a criminal).
3: The Mega Ball. Has a 1 multiplier, but if you are trying to catch a pokemon that either has an exclusive z move or a mega evolution, it immediately becomes 3 multiplier.

Re-use/infinity ball: If a Pokémon is not caught, the ball is not destroyed (and maybe a big drawback so you can’t just keep on throwing the same one.)
Perhaps it's disabled until the battle ends or requires some kind of recharge.
Fun fact: Even though I'm playing Moon, I'm pretty much Nocturnal, so I'm constantly playing during the game's Daytime.

Basically, it is the opposite of a repeat ball, it has a higher catch rate for Pokémon that haven't been caught before and and even higher catch rate for Pokémon you haven't seen before. It has a standard catch rate for Pokémon you have caught before.
i thought the battle ball will be a pokeball that allows u to catch a pokemon thats belongs to a trainer LMAO
