    People must stay and develop their own countries irrespective. Some move into foreign countries to embarrass Africans by selling drugs, human trafficking, dating & 419 scams. Just stay put and struggle in your own countries, begging.

    This is a bit too optimistic, I am afraid. 1. Non-EU citizens have a lot to do before they are allowed in. 2. EU citizens don't so they likely come first. 3. The ratio 133 vacancies on 100 jobs is misleading. They are not always full time jobs from where you could build a life on. 4. The majority of jobs open are the low paid shitty jobs. 5. The housing market is closed. There are no houses or even appartments or studios to rent or buy, and certainly not for a price most immigrants (doing the shitty jobs) can pay. There is a HUUUUGE shortage of houses and it won't go away within the next 10 years. And 6. Because there are no houses, the 30% rule (immigrants paying less tax) is likely to be abolished soon. Please consider these 6 points in your video too to give a balanced view.

    The Netherlands might not be the best destination for immigrants due to a number of reasons.Housing is a major problem and rent /mortage is sky rocketing.Cost of living is high and salaries aren't that competitive.I think Canada and Australia are better options full of potentials and huge opportunities.

    Hello all, it is not easy as in video. As a matter of fact anywhere in Europe is the case. Unless you go in for labour jobs it is different but then visa situation applies for example getting a work permit etc … I worked in Netherlands on ICT and to give it to the Dutch they have good English but foreigners to get job must know some Dutch

    It's not that much bright as mentioned in the video. All tax department communication is in Dutch language only. Even tax people are not ready to speak English on phone line. So Dutch language is must for survival and understanding Dutch tax system. There's hardly any English language classes in primary school so kids have to face difficulty in education. The houses are very small and rents are sky rocketed in last few years. Tax rate is one of the highest in whole Europe. A huge amount to pay for the health insurance of family and even then everything thing is not covered in health insurance.

    This is make believe, Netherlands is the most difficult country to get a job especially for the highly educated ethnic minority group. You need to be specific on the sector where jobs are opened. There is ethic filtering in the Netherlands. I am Dutch with a PhD in Business and management studies. I reside in the Netherlands. I have been in the job market for over 3 years. If you are not in the engineering and technology, please just forget it.

    I think everyone has dropped very good comments but I would also add mine. I live in the Netherlands and it's not as easy as you say it. You have to be clear in your statistics because if you look at specific jobs, it might be challenging for non-EU immigrants. They said that Dutch a lot of people speak English but that's not true. They might be able to speak English, however, they prefer Dutch. Please research yourself before relocating and you will be fine.

  • @MathinusG
    @MathinusG 2 ปีที่แล้ว +12

    I like your enthusiastic style, however the relocation packages and share options only go to top level needed skills. Not that you should not apply but you need to know, there is a huge shortage of accommodation in the Netherlands. Not everything is sunshine and roses.

    The bicycle culture...... stops car hijacking, reduces envy and competition amongst family, neighbors and colleagues, in many nations the brand of one's car/ vehicle have truly caused strive, envy and jealousy ......... Here no one CARES ABOUT CARS SO MUCH, cars are made use of when necessary.
    The bicycle CULTURE encourages everyone to go green , and also exercise.

    To be honest I used to live in this particular country and I hated I don't know how the country is right now, but first of all the language barrier and stuff, yes some of them can also speak English however, some of them will reply you in their language some of them will pretend that they can't understand English, that language is just similar to Germany I think that it's even a bit more complicated I was in school they don't mix you school with the citizens's just foreigners I hated the bicycle culture for some reason, for you to become a citizen it used to take while I don't know now honestly it was really bad really bad for me and my family it was that bad that I was falling into depression my mum was feeling very guilty about it because she was the one who brought us to the Netherlands, I seeing my mom getting old so quickly and losing weight so we ended up to moving to the UK now we're all British Citizen including my mum family of six back then my mum now has eight grandchildren that were born in here they are all British citizen as well, which is much much better ufff nothing to complain at all we are now used to country and we can do whatever I want in here.. Good luck to those who are looking to relocate to that particular country 🤨😊

      Well, it's all about choice. Living in Netherlands cannot be compare to Living in Nigeria 🇳🇬. No matter how you paint it ,it a whole lot better. I have lived in Finland 🇫🇮 for many years and I deeply understand the language barrier you spoke about where you cannot easily get a job unless you speak the language but gets better with time believe me, people adapt differently you might not like it there but it could be a saving grace for some. So please let people go out of Nigeria first then they can then think of going to UK , US or Canada.

    Hi Tochi,
    thanks for the info but can you please educate your viewers on what the tax system is for foreigners employed in the Netherlands.
    And lots of good question to ask though e.g are these vacancies 9 to 5 jobs?🤔 HOW COME SO MANY VACANCIES in the country? 🤔Did the government create more job opportunities, or are the vacancies as a result of the death of people during the pandemic, or did people in those jobs quit the jobs (if so why did they quit?)🤔. Did people resign from those jobs to join the new workforce that now work online or from the comfort of their homes [which is where the future of most jobs is headed]? If so does 9 to 5 jobs have a place in the future of modern civilizations? 🤔🤔🤔

      Uk has always been short of workers plus after we left the EU, it also added to it, cause alots of the EU went back to their countries which left more gap in the work force. If you have a comfortable life in ur home town please stay there. Let people that are trying to look for brighter life apply. Cause i don't understand the thousands questions u are asking Tochi to answer when she is trying to help those that need it. Please make ur own research why there are more jobs in UK.

      That question is applicable to many of you from Europe. I think the general Norm is "if it is better than where you are right now, just move" the rest will be sorted out later.

      Oga you dey speak to many englishes go to holland or Netherlands embassy it is in Walter Carrington VI Lagos. After facing the headquarters of Stanbic/sterling bank. Apply nobody needs to tell you. Where Igbos and Yoruba hardly go, there is a problem. We have enough Edo people ask them let them tell you. Going to the Netherlands is like staying in your country. It is very expensive, shortage of houses, and is known to be racist. Have you heard Nigerians tell you they stay in Pennsylvania U.S? Na them full there guy don't go and waste your life in a country that won't add value to it ooo. It is better to go to Spain and Italy than the Netherlands 🇳🇱
