I don't understand that test! Mine do 0-60 in 7 sec! and goes very very faster in high rpm level! Were you in eco mode?

CVT is always going to be slower, and the AWD system is always going to be heavier...so yeah
+Emilien Terrot It is likely the sea level that they are at. I have the 2013 nismo in Louisiana and mine is around 7sec with the cvt as well.

My 2015 Nismo: 0-60 in 6.8
Switch it to AWD (or AWD-V), nix the AC, Sport mode, Trac off, and rev it up as far as it'll go. Put it in manual gear control, and let the CVT do the shifting at the last possible moment.
My 2013 juke will def hit 60 faster than his juke lol my lil juke will shit and git!!

I love Nissans, but I wish they'd get over their love affair with the CVT, or at least offer a manual with more than just the base models. I'm really hoping that they decide to build the Sentra NISMO. I'd buy that in a heartbeat!

I purchased a non nismo just the other day and I have to say im reasonably impressed. I would like to see a little more power but what it has is very adequate. If you want a muscle car don't buy it. If you want a zippy little 4 door that rides higher than a car, looks like a two door, and gets 30 to 35 miles a gallon I think youll be hard pressed to find a better vehicle.
I now own this car, and I gotta say... It's a frigin fun little car. I have that exact car and I could not be happier with it. It's sooo light and the steering is so direct and on point. Sport Mode makes you feels like you are driving a beast the weight of a feather. This is probably the most fun you will have in a 200HP sports suv :)

It's not that light lmao? It's unimpressively 3k pounds or over for the most part, and the transmission cvt is god AWFUL and shit. It's still just damn slow and sport mode doesn't make it a beast or weight of a feather it also doesn't have 200 horse and isn't an SUV. Your are a dumbass

HAHA! this is hilarious. almost as if they're trying to put a fake image on the juke. My dad has a 2013 Juke and ours is fat af. Way faster than what they're showing.
They're miles above sea level so all cars are much slower there. It's a lot faster if you test it somewhere else.

It also will only rev up so far when holding the brake, nissan's ECU's limit around 10% throttle when break applied to avoid toyota's "moving forward, even when you don't want to" issue.
I have a regular juke with awd and the 1.6 turbo and mine works a lot better that this. I think they tried using manual mode which is basically useless. In drive with sport mode on, my juke revs up to 6k very quickly and gets to 60 much faster than 9 or 10 seconds.
Seriously horrible review! He didn't even know about the shifters on the steering wheel or completely ignored it. The Juke Nismo is a rocket especially when you use the gear shifter on the steering wheel. Garbage review

I like the Look of it.. I think The New Civics Look Bad.. The new Elantra N looks like crap too.. The manuals can be tuned to 300 WHP.. My AWD SL is Tuned to 246WT and 242WHP. And Honestly the WRX is twice the money out the door.
You need to use the manual shifting mod, take it to redline each gear you will get to 60 much faster. That is the correct way to test it
How can you do a speed review in an automatic? Surely the manuals would be better

Something you guys should do is a merging test. Go on a highway and see how well the vehicles perform a kickdown and fast they get from 45 to 65 mph. Personally I never found a real use to 0-60 times, I never have to floor it from a standstill to 60. I think a car that can merge with confidence sounds more applicable to me. If I remember correctly the old Saab Turbo merged more quickly than a 911 Porsche.
I don't know why white folks hate juke looking, I love my juke, and I see a lot of jukes in my Chinese neighborhood

Also, they don't really understand how to drive with the CVT. Which is fine because really, the car and the CVT are not for everyone.
Well guys, this is a pretty ugly and -IMHO- useless car. It's like a hatchback with an ugly body. The whole crossover thing just doesn't make any sense. What would you rather have, say an A6 allroad or a Q5? They have about the same ground clearance, but the A6 has more room inside. I'd take the A6 every time.
With these crossovers, they just cut the bumper height to create the illusion of ground clearance. Nevermind all the suspension components sit EXACTLY as low as any other normal car.
yup I too agree with that, the reason why i commented is that Ford Europe is under heavy depresion and Th European products just elevated Ford which wasjust an average brand in their parent country to something thats far more exiting, I love Ford Europe and Hate Ford AMerica but I have been waitin 4 the US,Europe,ASIA,Australia allianz of Ford and that happened and the results are miles better than what i expected, its true AMericans kno nothing(not offensive)
Yup but see the chriss harris on cars review of Focus ST vs Megane vs Astra VXR also I have driven ST and Stang and i felt realy confident in the ST while the stang was too touchy, little bit more power will result in unwanted wheel spin and fish tailing, ST is way more contollable, well insulated cabin, nice and sporty interiors and has better ride quality than Stang, much better daily driver and 4seater car,beam end axle is controlled by beter ESC and ESP in ST
vaughn gittin JR disagrees with you. you think a beam-axle rear end is any better than a solid axle? look at car and drivers lightning lap the v6 mustang was serveral seconds faster than the focus ST on a very technical track. the fiesta ST will be either slower than the fiat 500 abarth or slightly faster.
I have no clue how they are paid to do this anymore... I have a 2015 SV AWD, 0-60 in 6.3 at 1,000 above sea level

The front of the car looks OK but inside is just looks and feels too cheap. I'm not digging the motorcycle theme in the middle. And the back seats are for little kids only.
Personally I think the regular sized version of the Juke is better. Not that I like them. I dont see how the Nismo is better in any way. 9hp more? come on Nissan that is a joke and not a good one either.

False. This is a super mini dressed like a crossover. Without a doubt, one of the weirdest and the most controversial cars I have ever seen. It's a great car for the city though.

I;m really close to pulling the trigger on a 2017 nismo RS with 25k miles.
Then I don't like it anymore, did some research and found out the AWD Jukes don't come in manual trans only the FWD ones. For me that's a load of bull.
I don't like the red accents on the mirrors, it reminds me of a mini cooper. Otherwise seems nice for city and summer driving.
i understand, hesitated about it for a second, but it is after all a sport utility vehicle and it could off-road a bit
you can get a v6 mustang for cheaper than both the fiesta st and the focus st. ford's biggest enemy is itself.

They are completely different cars. No one is going to cross shop a Juke with a NSX.

I am in my second week of owning the Nismo and it is a great car. I traded in my 2012 v6 Mustang automatic to get it and it has the same off the line performance but way better handling. Also not sure why the CVT gets so much hate. It is definitely better that the archaic Mustang auto transmission.
CVT's get hate because they suck and all they do is whine.

buildmorefarms100 NISMO is not only about speed,it is about getting car balance better and better that why they are adding new susspension,brakes and aerodynamic body kit,look at nissan march(micra) NISMO it has around 117ps but it got good balance and it can kick ass of more powerfull cars on track:)

The CVT isn't a bad thing, why does everyone give the CVT shit? The CVT transmission from nissan is brilliant. Some CVT's are shit when there isn't a lot of thought put toward making them perform properly.
Looked a several reviews and finally came across this. Not funny at all and they just dont understand who this is designed for. But they are old guys so it would escape them completely.
i like the juke my mom has one its a lot of fun small and compact never have trouble when traffic is bad and has good visibility from the front even passed 22 cars one time by going off road using all wheel drive. you can never park this car bad you always have lots of space all around even if the guy next to you parks bad. needs more horse power tho, this new version is a joke as far as engine improvement.
Thing about this suv is because it looks very modern and sporty but the best part about this SUV and the smartest thing they did comes with the potential it has, for example i wish i could get the R version but i cant so i can take this same model, chip it, CAI exhaust, wider rims etc and have a very fast suv that can be taken to the track!! ;) (its just cool now, but it can be fast with few mods)
