I'm from Lahore. Harappa is about 200 km from here. I've been there many times. It's really a mind blowing site. We living in 21st century cannot imagine the level of their engineering techniques, science and technology almost 4500 to 5000 years ago. Unbelievable... Apart from political differences between Pakistan and India I would suggest that both countries must cooperate with each other to safeguard and further research on these sites which are our shared heritage. Concluding that Harappan civilization was much older than dated and its expanse was much more than speculated it stretched from Himalayas to the Indian Ocean and from Mayanmar to Caspian sea.

Sir, Actually the oldest civilization in the world is Mehergarh Civilization in Kachhi District now in Balochistan, Pakistan ( Previously Sindh/Sindhu Kingdom in vedic/ancient times )
It was pre-indus era civilization as it is is almost 12000-15000 years old
It was neolithic site .
