I enjoyed your report! Looks a really nice relaxing journey. The ferry looked really modern, clean and comfortable. I need to return to Spain for a holiday at some point in the future!
Enjoyed watching the trip report and I have also noticed that travelling by ship always gives you a different vibe and a calm feeling which is fascinating and I would surely like to travel on ships occasionally. And a great video as always.☺
We took the overnight ferry last August with friends in their car, and had a cabin. The cabin (and entire ship) was spotless, and the beds were really comfortable. You can also bring your pets with you, and they provide overnight space for them as well.
My very first crossing, was from Denia to San Antonio, aboard the 'Bahia de Malaga', (Flebasa Lines). The last time I saw the ship, was in a mess in Palma harbour! Great days...Thank you.
Congrats for the video. Last week I travelled by Balearia from Denia to Ibiza shipped in the Eleanor Roosevelt Fast Ferry, and back via Formentera with Nixe ferry and Ramon Llull fast ferry from Formentera to Denia. Absolutely recommend it
I love ferries about as much as I love trains which is a lot so I enjoyed this video very much. The ferries I've been on here in the US were a lot shorter trips than this,(Oakland to San Francisco, Newport to Balboa Island, and New Orleans to Algiers Point) but I would love to go on something like this
Great video! This ferry looks very nice. I've never been on ferry like this, my biggest ferry experience was Star ferry in Hong Kong :-D I envy you your trip to Valencia, which is my favorite city in Spain!
Well that was certainly a different trip report 😉. I hope you enjoyed your day at sea Max. As you said, sometimes it’s just nice to take a step back from rushing 👍🏻
Good plan to include the odd ferry trip - might I suggest a mention of where you stayed and at what rate/location to station etc (or even include 10 secs or so about the hotel). Those seats were far too close together - must've been designed by an airline!
I do try to include information on how to get to the departure point, where possible as I did today. Yeah I didn't understand with all that space why the seats were so close together 🤣
@@NonstopEurotrip i've traveled many years ago in those ferrys and this rooms where cinema teatres in the old days... so maybe they discovered that with this configuration they just can fit moore seats even there's no cinema now, so they just keep it like this and copy it in the new ones LOL

Thank you for such a great video. This is the first one I have seen of yours... and of course "liked and subscribed" to it. My husband and I are immigrating to Portugal next year, and this seems a like a great way to travel. We both also love train travel (something you really can't do on the the West Coast of the USA), and look forward to seeing more of your videos!!

The legroom on the seats may not have been brilliant, but I think that sort of seating is a good idea; I've never seen it on Dover to Dunkerque ferries, or on longer routes such as to Ireland. I thought€59 was a bit steep; Liverpool to Belfast would be a similar distance, and costs £22 one way on the daytime crossing. For an extra £22, you can have access to the first class lounge, with complementary snacks & drinks, including wine and beer. (I was driving, so I went easy on that part 🙂)
Liverpool to Belfast takes 8 hours without a stop, so I'd say it's similar timewise if not in distance. Holyhead is a long way further west, so ferries on that route are a lot quicker, as I experienced on the return journey: Dublin to Holyhead.
I think there was complementary wine in the 1st class lounge on the Irish Ferries sailing from Dublin to Holyhead as well. I can't remember for certain as I was driving off the boat, so I had to remain sober. Railways throughout Ireland (Northern and Republic) are a wide gauge - I think it's 5'4". Would make an interesting trip. There are international trains from Belfast to Dublin. A lot of good scenery as well.
Remember watching the ferries leaving Palma when we were there. Gotta love a ferry crossing. Are there any other ferry companies operating from Palma? Spent a week in Valencia once. Nice city..
@@NonstopEurotrip Took the (old style) Euromed to Alicante for a day trip. Went to the City of Arts & Sciences and the Aquarium one day too. That's a few hours of my life I'll never get back.. 😴 Market is glorious & lunching by the beach is a must..
I’m planning on bringing my car back from Italy (where it’s been stuck since December) over the summer via Cittivechia-Barcelona ferry then Santander-Portsmouth ferry. Hopefully the Med crossing portion will be similar to your crossing. I did think about seeing if there were still such things as trains that take cars, like old fashioned motor-rail…is that still a thing?
Wow that sounds like an adventure! There haven't been any motorrail trains in France since 2019 and no domestic Italian ones since well before that. In theory there is a Verona-Dusseldorf service which runs once a week but that hasn't run since the pandemic started. Unsure if/when it will start again. Tbh your best bet is probably the route you mentioned or just drive it back! Good luck! 👍🏻
Mallorca means a lot to me: I had forgotten that Big island and her little sister Minorca, but never Ibiza. Mallorca is linked to Quito, Ecuador and a woman with a vicuña throw. Ibiza is profoundly tied to a movie I saw at the 8th Street Cinema east of Sixth Avenue and the Waverly movie house. A movie called "Fake" by 3 famous grifters : a movie director, an author and an artist who fooled "experts" with his forgeries. These men, filmed by the director sat in Blazing white sunlight reflecting off the white adobe houses and many winding steps.
