Hello, thanks for your feedback. The first part of the report was about the RM1 (the older and slower version), while the second part mentioned the new and more potent RM1S.
I think the electric motor is a good idea. However I feel the bike still needs a onboard generator to either charge the battery pack or just provide electric current directly to the motor or both. Relying on shore power only for charging the battery is not the way to go.
@@Datacube the lightest self contained generator available on the market weighs in at 865 grams. That's considerably lighter than the battery packs motorcycle companies are trying to stuff into their current EV'S. People developing these vehicles need to start taking a broader perspective on how to bring these vehicles to market.
@@DucatiMonster-x2kI agree, I'm not convinced nations (even developed, let alone developing or 3rd world nations) are going to be able to keep up with charging infrastructure and power grid requirements as more and more EVs hit the roads. HEVs do make sense for many reasons, but it seems most companies are heavily focused on producing EVs because of the hype. And yes, range anxiety.

Range and speed to low, price to high. Electric bikes will never take off until petrol ones are gone and we've nothing else to buy. Fortunately I'll probably be dead by then.

I like the bmw ce 02 but the deal breaker is the charging time and not able to charge in street chargers and the range 😢
Reverse parking mode? Tell me more.
Good video, bit you mixed up the images for the rm1 with rm1s. They look similar, but the rm1s should have better performance overall.

Hello, thanks for your feedback. The generators are heavy and would take up even more space on electric bikes that are already heavy by default.

Was excited for kawasaki right up until eco = 40mile range. I really would have expected 60-80
Are these new electric motorcycles good enough to replace your 125cc commuter? Share your thoughts below!
I don't understand how this is better than combustion
They need more range and top speed for those prices. Some e-bikes can hit 50mph with a little help
what license do you need for these
Hello, thanks for your feedback. Same license as for a 125cc bike.

i think motorcycles should run around 80-100 mph by now ...... make it happen ..... 😀
Hello, thanks for your feedback. There are models like these already, however their weight, size and price are just astonishing.
Will any of these ever see the light of day in the UK? Only Kawasaki and Maeving so far…
Hello, thanks for your feedback. All models besides the upcoming Super 73 and Yadea are already available for purchase.
In the UK…? No dealers I have checked seem to have them other than the two I mentioned.Links are to US web sites, from what I see
Oh, you meant in the UK.
Yes, as I stated in the initial comment.
Missed that, my apologies
