Thornton Township residents accused Tiffany Henyard, who is also Dolton Mayor, of misusing tax dollars at a special Board of Trustees meeting Friday.

Illinois just passed a new law in the state that municipalities cannot give elected official pay raises in the middle of their term, that budget needs to be relooked at anyway.

Unfortunately, the law is innocent until proven guilty. The problem is the council/board that should have kept her in check. They didn't do anything for a while cause they were also comfortable with whatever they were doing until Tiffany started draining the funds.

In a previous video, Henyard mistook deficit for unpaid bills. I wonder what she thinks a surplus is.
All you need to know is she passed a bill saying anyone after her takes a 80% pay cut. Shes making over 300k now from when she started it was around 50,000. I hope when all is said and done the goverment sieze her assests so all her money is gone and given back to the community. She deserves to be in jail period.
Tiffany or should I say Dolton Police Department. Last year my mother Ms. Hill made a live fb video. Speaking out against her! And DPD. This was August 31st 2023. Next day Sep 1 the entire DPD came to our home and illegally arrested my mother. No warrant no paper work. Didn’t even read her rights. I have it all on our home security cams! They lied and said she made a threat against her. Mind you she was in a car when she made the video. Fast forward To October & November. We went to court for this and guess what!? Dismissed and the actual “charge” was disorderly conduct!!! It was dismissed instantly. My mother was detained 21hrs at DPD and 4hrs of the 21 spent at ingalls hospital. All for a false charge they wrote up. Mama hill has been harassed and rights violated by Tiffany and DPD. More specifically Chief Lacey!!!

@@xtraxtrathirsty I must correct that (I confused it with some OTHER shenanigans in Dolton)...Voters voted 56% to recall her. But, Judge Karkula directed the Cook County Clerk to disregard those votes pertaining to that referendum. THEN, the Illinois Appellate Court granted a stay to continue the tally and directed the County Clerk to do so. THENNNN, the Appellate Court ruled that the referendum was illegal. So, here she still sits.
