When I first met my future my son in law, he told me, with a laugh in his voice, "I'm Jap-i-can!" Ha! He is half Japanese, and half Mexican! IT WAS GREAT!

I have learnt something on use of humor
He's not downing Chinese, he just didn't see himself as that so it felt alien to be called that. It would have been the same if they had called him "hey Icelandic boy." You get the idea... anyway he is handsome and funny no matter what his genes.
Reminds me of Ted's Philosophy. "Party on, dude!" and "Be excellent to each other!"

That's what i do. I laugh at myself everytime they call me chinese, japanese or nepal. Chinese people even talk to me in chinese because they thought i am a chinese too. By the way, i am a full blooded Filipino. 😆
