The planes have rules how close they can fly each other and usually ATC gives the instructions for flight levels, heading etc. The A380 was also flying to Doha but probably different way than my flight.
Watch at 2:54, you can see your plane's shadow on the contrail...as it descends.. That's a freaking amazing video...I'm always on the lookout for such incidents when I fly but never get lucky..hehe

did the A380 have order to fly below the A350 in order to avoid collision? or simply because A380 is about to land thus lowering its altitude?
