This is what I call a complete floor routine, everything was on point, tumbling, choreography, rhythm. Wendy Bruce and Brandy Johnson did a great job in 1989 worlds and deserved better scores.
I saw her in another championships, held in the US once... she was using an ABBA song for her routine and I loved it! I lost the tape though, but I can still remember the moment I saw Wendy there... I was in an awe.... 💚🥰😊
This was a time when Wendy and Brandy Johnson competed at the same time and Brandy's music was heavily influenced by Aerobic choreography. I would imagine this piece came from aerobic discipline and I wouldn't be surprised if it's an original piece created for her. Just a wild wild guess, on a Sunday morning before coffee.
Shazam and SoundHound apps pulled up nothing. At least I know Wendy's Floor Music in 1992 was Lay All Your Love on Me by ABBA, possibly the Erasure version.
Dang. That was nearly a flawless routine. Well done 👏

@@Boban1611 Prob the US vs GDR in 1990. I think she won that one. Very good tumbler and excellent form as well.
@@metsdudenj Oh yes.... yes it was that competition.... GDR vs USA in 1990. A beautiful routine that was! I liked her very much!
@@Boban1611 I always liked her beautiful form on her leaps and extension, always had great dance technique. Very underrated gymnast
@@Boban1611 That was the routine she used for 1992 Olympics. You can see it searching 1992 US Gymnastics Trials.
I wish I knew the name of this music.
Maybe someone of the other fans on here will tell us. I wish I could... *sighs*
