Whenever I do automaton blitz missions I have a specific loadout that I call the "Bot-room Blitz" It's the Spear, Orbital Laser, Eagle Smoke, and Orbital Railcannon round. I take Light scout armor, stamina booster, the Sickle (That's just what I use for most missions), the senator, and stun grenades
Thank you for this! After playing weeks of bots, I finally started playing bugs and something always felt missing in my loadouts. The answer was Autocannon Sentry! I imagined it wouldn't last long as it would be swarmed by bugs. But the trick is to clear out the fast moving chaff first, then throw down the AC Sentry and shred the armored guys. I don't comment on youtube as much but big thanks for this!!
Here's a fun build you can use for bot missions and also works on bugs but you'll need to bring in a primary that can deal with horde, bring in the Anti-Material Riffle, Jump Pack, EAT (Expendable Anti-Tank) and Gatling turret, you can swap the turret for eagle strike if you want, for armor pick anything light with the "scout" perk, the active radar on pings is super useful and the lowered detection range means you can dodge patrols while looking for samples and such. This loadout I've been using for 3 weeks now, has lots of mobility, great for finding spots to take out larger targets, and the EATs are great for teamplay since you can drop them and let your team use them while you snipe away, the Jump pack lets you traverse any map with ease and even cross large chasms or bodies of water, and the sniper riffle can kill everything short of a Charger or Bile Titan, but that's what the EATs are for, with good practice and some good aim, you can go on side missions, find secondary objectives and go looking for POI's to gather samples and find caches, since the AM riffle can blow up blue and orange cache doors with one shot. On the bot side, the sniper can one-shot almost anything, and can 2 shot hulks if you hit the red eye (easier said than done, it sways a lot) the EATs can help with that and help with tanks, but the AM Riffle will one-shot any bot with a well placed shot, mostly aim for the skull head, the Eagle strike can take out bot fabricators on a single hit, and can take out multiple with one shot The reason for the Eagle Air Strike/ Gatling turret is simple, it's the "ohh shit" button, if you find yourself in a rough spot with a horde on top of you, the turret will clear away the smaller bugs while you take out anything bigger like Chargers or Hive Guards, the strike is best used for clearing out breaches or destroying robot factories, can also be used to close bug holes, and can be used to kill Bile Titans and Tanks, since it has high AP damage, but this last stratagem should be considered more of a "flex" slot, that you can change depending on the mission, like swapping the turret for an autocannon turret for bot missions if needed.
The only two viable turrets against bots are mortar and EMS mortar, because they work while hidden. You throw a gatling turret in the sight of any bot, and they will move the whole crew just to ruin your fun.
For automatons, laser is the best since orbital laser could destroy an entire automaton outposts and laser cannon could destroy anything from hulk to tanks.
Another good buildup to factor (That got switched around once the quazar cannon came out) was this: Stalwart Slugger resupply backpack Ems sentry impact grenades armor that allows 6 grenades Sky laser/ 500 kg bomb/expenadable anti tank You use the stalwart to take out all the hoard enemies and you use the slugger/grenades/strategems for anything medium armored. A supply pack can refill all the stalwart mags, 2 stims, 2 grenades so I could go entire rounds just endlessly firing the stalwart and lobbing grenades and slugger rounds at anything armored.
@@pse2020 That's because the punisher fires a buckshot, so the damage is spread over multiple pellets. If you are shooting from too far them most of your pellets aren't hitting the enemy. The slugger fires one big projectile so as long as that hits you're getting the full damage and you can shoot it from much farther.
I like offering two for a supply bag and a grenade laumcher to bust crowds. Paired with stun it can take out some heavys. Supported by a lazur orbital and moab cuz why not. Diligent dmr goes hard for bots, shotty for the bugs
I can see this being a fun loadout. I might have to give it a go! Personally I just love the autocannon and would pick it any day over the G Launcher, but that’s a matter of preference, not performance
I have a bot run build. Light armor with a good throwing arm for strat range or more stims. Counter sniper for primary precise damage or slugger for the ability to ignore most bot armor. Quasar/recoilless/autocannon for anti-heavy. Quasar can't punch armor, but it pounds out weak points and dropships easily and doesn't leave you vulnerable in-between shots in long holdout situations. Shield to deal with random rockets and shots and gives you room to aim your shots. At low diffs, go for airstrike and laser. At high diffs orb rail and laser again.
Just wanna add an option for new players that I've been seeing lots of success with. It might seem weird to take more than one stratagem weapon but if you look at the stats opting for a stalwart rather than cluster bomb/airburst/cannon barrages has its advantages. A single stalwart/flamethrower call can contribute far more to an extended engagement than any chaff clear. While the effect isnt immediate eat-17s do not require much time and dont even need to be held, just leave them on the ground until a heavy wonders by then swap it out. Only essential is 500kg, 4th slot can be anything but lazer/shield drones will do the most legwork for less experienced players.
I really enjoy using the Air Burst against bug breaches. With the Additional Guns ship upgrade it shoots 3 times well delayed so it can wipe out 3 waves of light and medium spawns of a single bug breach.
Great video. Great music. Well-paced. Any for Automatons? P.S. Only minor constructive criticism I'd offer is going a little slower on the transitions to the next load out (and I really mean only a few seconds as to allow the viewer's brain to take it in for a second). Well done.
Thanks bro 💪 your options are very limited as a fresh cadet, but aim towards getting the laser cannon and sentry/auto canon turret. Play on lower difficulty untill you can grab the 590kg eagle at level 15 :)
Best armor in my opinion is Stim armor. Any of the medic armors give you more stims and the heal lasts longer. Light for terminals and medium for bots, because some of the bot shots will become one-shot kills with light armor and they can be outrun rather easily in medium. I've pulled off some insane extracts by spamming stims through a hell storm of 100 bots planted on the extraction site, getting knocked around like ragdoll the whole way but alive lol
For the bots I agree on medium armor and I can also see a big use for the medic perk aswell. For terminids, Stins rarely becomes an issue for me.. bots however, that’s another story 😅 against those I prefer medic or explosive resistant. But that will be covered in the next vid
@@TheCymonSays further on the stim perk: a strategy I've taken to lately is taking a very small amount of damage on purpose, and then using the stim just before I do something extremely dangerous. Whether that's running into an outpost to hot drop, running through an open field of heavy fire, run through fire, jumping off a cliff, etc. it's led to some seriously clutch moments. Also, stim refills your sprint for the entire duration, and can be just the boost needed to escape a hulk that got way too close while youre out of stamina
Since they added quasar cannon i don't use railgun anymore. You can one shot chargers, bile titans, close glory holes, destroy shrinker nests with one weapon and it's safer to use than railgun and you don't have ammo.

The only struggle is taking down the bot drop ships and hulks currently
Depends on your preference.. it’s definitely a good weapon but it isn’t the best for everything. For a solo player I’d still pick arc thrower, auto cannon but I might replace the laser cannon or rail gun with the new Quasar :)
Have you tried it? I spent 2 min just pumping blitzed shots into a charger and nothing happens to it.. So if you can dmg it now, then they have buffed it since release of the gun
It is satisfying but it isn’t a good tool for higher difficulty since it can’t deal with charges.. If you however want to bring the stalwart then just remember to use other stratagems that can deal with the charges and bike titans.
I will say, I don't ever run the 500kg... it's too inconsistent for me. The damage range is small for what it looks like and half the time it does nothing to the target. I can't justify running it for myself
I will agree that it’s blast radius is small (it’s shaped like a cone going upwards) But with some practise and enemy knowledge it becomes the strongest stratagem in the game.
I really wish people stop recommending the 500kg and EATs. At least in pubs it seems like everyone uses them and the second they are on cooldown its like the people just run around with there heads cut off and instantly get overwhelmed because they cant actually deal with the enemies in the game. Its particularly bad on bot missions though
Well, if your that much better than everyone else then maybe just start diving solo? 😉 Not everyone can be a master skilled player and that’s why I made this video. Quick guide on what to bring and how to use it.
@TheCymonSays it has nothing to do with skill. Just they literally have no ability to deal with bigger threats for long periods of time. Because they take guides as all they should ever use ever no matter the situation.
@@TheCymonSaysyou’re probably right, I’ve been maining the Scorcher for over a month. I feel like no one talks about the stalwart it’s to satisfying letting that shit spray
It is satisfying but it isn’t a good tool for higher difficulty since it can’t deal with charges..
If you however want to bring the stalwart then just remember to use other stratagems that can deal with the charges and bike titans.
Free progression tree?
Defend Hellmire!
Oh the sickle... How original, don't tell me you also recommend the Auto canon and Quasar Canon
I just use laser. Rover, laser cannon, orbital laser cannon, and then maybe EAT or 500 kg
dude if we get actual load out slots i'll N U T
Would be kinda sexy ;)
I will say, I don't ever run the 500kg... it's too inconsistent for me. The damage range is small for what it looks like and half the time it does nothing to the target. I can't justify running it for myself
I will agree that it’s blast radius is small (it’s shaped like a cone going upwards)
But with some practise and enemy knowledge it becomes the strongest stratagem in the game.
Are these all builds for solo bugs nor bots?
They can be used for bots aswell :) just don’t bring rover to the bots 😁
@@TheCymonSays I rarely bring the rover anywhere to be fully honest. It often harms me more than helps me, sadly.
Not everyone can be a master skilled player and that’s why I made this video. Quick guide on what to bring and how to use it.
@TheCymonSays it has nothing to do with skill. Just they literally have no ability to deal with bigger threats for long periods of time. Because they take guides as all they should ever use ever no matter the situation.
SENDING IN AN EAGLE!!!!
blitzer deals 0 damage to chargers? WHAT... how did i kill 1 the other day? :D
You didn’t. I did ;) remember to use your glasses friend 😅
@@TheCymonSays i was solo :D
maybe you shot its ass for a really long time?
No Scorcher?
No scorcher. If you’ve unlocked the Scorcher I highly doubt this video will have any value for you 😅
@@TheCymonSaysyou’re probably right, I’ve been maining the Scorcher for over a month. I’ve soloed Bots and Bugs on helldive with 0 deaths so maybe I can give some insight into the best loadouts currently.
Bots:
Autocannon
Orbital laser
Orbital railcannon
Eagle Airstrike (omitted if AA defenses)
Scorcher
Machine Pistol
Stun Grenade
Bugs:
Grenade Launcher
Supply Pack
EAT
Eagle Cluster
Scorcher
Machine Pistol
Impact Grenades
Alt Bugs:
Autocannon
EAT
Orbital Laser
Orbital Railcannon
Defender
Machine Pistol
Stun Grenade
You got to charge the arc to 60-65% after the first shot 50 isn't enough.
So hold the trigger for an extra 0.001 second? 🤔😄 yea it all comes down to muscle memory
@@TheCymonSays it does. But you can clearly see the difference between 50 and 60% if you see the reticle and have the mental capacity of a 6th grader.
So basically, you just want people to take the 500kg and the autocanon sentry every time always.
500kg always. Yes.. but you don’t have to bring autocannon sentry always. As explained in the video, other options like cluster, air strike, rover can also work great. But every pick comes with strength and weaknesses
"I have given them names too because why not" Smart.. So what are the- "Rail ranger" PFFFFFFFFFFT.......I am an adult I swear XDDDD
😏😅
RRRRRRRAAAAAAAHHHHHHH🦅
Ahhh what ab automotons ??? Bugs are pretty easy tbh. But the bots, goddamn they’re hell
I honestly don’t think the bots are that bad. Just requires another approach and mindset. Will be working on a video for bots soon
@@TheCymonSaysfair, I just feel like I HAVE to wear the shield backpack otherwise I get one shot by a rocket devastator from across the map lol. Looking forward to that video tho !!
Fuck your meta, giga chads don’t need meta.
Bet you’re a solo player with that attitude? 😅
whatever helps ya sleep at night brother
@@TheCymonSays
I’m not the one that needs the team, the team needs ME.
You meta pleb.
@@TheCymonSays
I don’t need a team, the team needs me.
Meta is for pussies.
I've tried these loadouts and it's fucking impossible on anything past 8
Why would the hind legs NOT be the weak point on a charger?! 🤔
It is weak points but being able to destroy charges with auto cannons to the rear leg is apparently not intended according to arrowhead devs.
Glory holes… I can’t. 😂
Oh yes you can Cadet 😏 Now.. Go do your part
I do not understand people that purposely play this game solo
Needs time stamps.
Will consider that in the next one.
The orbital rail cannon can one shot titans. It isn't guaranteed obviously but if the targeting hones in on the head it will kill on that hit
I haven’t seen it occur for weeks now. But happy to hear that it’s still possible 😁🙏
You forgot one little thing i guess : thé god DAMN STALKERS.... I ve juste tried your first load out. I failed thé mission juste because of this epic shiit annoying bug. In 4th difficulty only. This shiit IS annoying as hell. 4 rth in a game... Juste 4. And its done. Gg terminids
Yea stalkers are a pain and if spotted, it’ll be your priority number 1 to find their nest and take it out..
Only option is to try and spot where they are coming from and then search in that direction.
literally all wrong
Well explain the right way
This is a co op game.. whats next from the no friends group.. ? Wanting it to be easier 😅 learn to play with others and use a mic to communicate we were all blueberries once lol..
I don’t understand what your trying to achieve with your message?
Yes it’s coop but the game can also be great fun in a solo dive.
And not everyone is so fortune to always have friend around to play with.
I enjoy playing with friends AND soloing. Sometimes I don't want to go in with a group. Just preferences. Sometimes it's easier solo because you're not getting team killed or because someone isn't unnecessarily pissing off a patrol.
Piss off mate..I hate people.
