  • How to maximize your toolpath efficiency by using variables, formulas, and toolpath templates. This lesson applies to Vectric VCarve, Aspire, and Cut2D. However, the toolpath template features will not work with Cut2D Desktop or VCarve Desktop, they will only work with the Pro versions.

      When it says "Access to future Content" does that mean any future classes you do will be available to use forever?

      @@Golfexpertbelieveme that is correct! Any time I add new lessons to the Master Course, all enrolled students get access to it for life.🙌

    I didn't realize about the t/# without the equal. And I never paid attention to the numbers at the bottom. Thanks a ton for more awesome tips!

    You have taught me shortcuts and methods no one else has in the last three years. Outstanding videos.

    GREAT explanation, a little bit more than I needed, but I was searching for a way to set the thickness as a variable, and not need to get into each toolpath and change the cut of depth when the material changes. This was the EXACT answer I needed! Thanks!!

    Thanks, Kyle. This is something I will use. That is a great deal of information in a short period of time. Excellent!!!

    The z+0 was genius! This will make some jobs that vary in thickness very easy to recalculate just by changing the sheet parameter! Thanks!

    I often use the variables that you shared but don't know all of them. So appreciate you sending me the sheet - I followed your link. One tip that you gave that I have been frustrated with is how often the variable for thickness disappears and the actual thickness gets put in. i will use your trick of using the variable and then adding "0".

    Your videos are a step above my friend. Your ability to communicate and teach are amazing. Are you affiliated with Vactric? I get the impression you are just an end user that has a superior grasp of the software. I would suggest Vectric take a look at you to teach people their products. Well thank you for the videos they are awesome I am learning all sorts of things watching your videos.

    So is this type of information in covered in the Masters class or are these topics covered in the live training course?

    Can you set up the templates to do z- for all depths?

  • @steveparry4455
    @steveparry4455 ปีที่แล้ว

    This is great when working with sheets. Is there a way of making a default template for just a profile cut without working with sheets? e.g. Start depth 0.0mm Cut - Depth 19.20mm / Tool 1/8 EM / Machine Vectors = Outside / Do Separate last pass 0.20mm / Add ramps Smooth distant 20mm

    Can a single tool path be used on varying thickness materials? e.g. I want a pocket that always has a .25" bottom thickness but my material might be 1" or 3/4" or 1.2 inches.

    Can you use this example in non-pro versions of Vetric?

    • @LearnYourCNC
      @LearnYourCNC  ปีที่แล้ว

      In non-pro versions, you will not be able to save the toolpaths as a template but everything else will work just as I showed it.

    VCarve Pro does not accept a formula for Tab Thickness, which severely limits the usefulness of variables. Sure, I can automatically update the cut depth but all my tabs will be wrong.
