If they decide to continue Bravely Default (I don't think they will it is sub-titled End Layer) it would be nice to see just exactly whats he's up to. Also, the fact that they call an amnesiac Ringabel is just such an oxymoron.
This trailer is shown at the beginning of the game, at this point "Ringabel went back to his OWN world, his objective unknown, could it be that he remembered the mission he had forgotten?". He is an important NPC for the Bravely Second plot.
I loved how in the first Bravely Default, Square made sure to use most if not all of the 3ds features. The 3d looked really nice, they used the front camera to immerse you into the final battle, streetpass was actually a big part of the story(different worlds concept) , and those cut scenes using the gyroscope were amazing!

I'm so glad Edea's returning in this game. I really liked her in Bravely Default but I'm looking forward to seeing how much she has grown as a character in this one.
That would be real mind blowing moment, (spoiler alert) then again they did make us fight Airy who was our fairy companion which of course no one thought that a fairy would be a villain or took up a temporary role as the main antagonist, they also made us fight Alternis who is technically Ringabel, they did kind of Kill off DeRosso at the final battle who actually wasn't evil to begin with and helped us till the very end, but oh well it's not Jean and Nikolai hasn't been getting anything new about them because they might be traitors and...Oh god they might us kill Jean and Nikolai
I know where he is and when we meet him im just not telling perhaps you'll have to get to the part in the game and be as strong as I am 😊 the game is hard though if your on normal -_-
I'm firmly convinced that Ringabel's either going to be at least a playable character in Bravely Third/Sword or a major antagonist. It all depends on the nature of the Dimensional Bureau.
Maybe Ringabel for the Smash ballot. He can have a similar mechanic to shulk. Press B to change his job class and in return that will change some of his attacks and movement.
Joshua Hernandez I don't think a complete moveset change would be a good idea considering Sakurai doesn't allow custom movesets online. (he dislikes unpredictable or hard-to-adapt-to movesets) Maybe, since each class in Bravely Default has drastically different stats, it should work just like Shulk's monado arts. Jump = Valkyrie Job (because valkyrie has lots of jumping moves) Speed = Theif Job (very high speed stat) Shield = Knight Job (very high def stat) Buster = Pirate Job (very high attack stat) Smash = Ninja Job (very high attack stat) The first four alt costumes would be the default Freelancer job costumes, and the second four alt costumes would be recolors or the four "Special" costumes you unlock by rebuilding Norende. I've already voted for them. Why haven't you?

I'm starting Bravely Second today, I really hope I will tie with the characters like I did in Bravely Default, I loved all of them. I don't know, knowing that Agnes and Ringabel aren't anymore in the party is really sad, especially because Ringabel was my favorite character ;_;

You can change the text, but the context and everything AROUND the translation will be the same; four years just doesn't feel as long as seven, and it'd be weird to have them act like it is.

Really hope it doesn't flop like the first game did cause I loved the first game so much about it till the "you-know-what-if-you've-played-it" point. The recycling of the battle backgrounds and monsters make me worried but at the same time this opening's got me so excited for it
True, but Second has a few tracks that surpass the original's by quite a bit. One example being the intro you just heard. Overall, the first had more better tracks, and as a whole, a better OST, but Second's OST is far from flawed in my opinion.

Whether the motives make sense or not it is revealed in the end credits of the true ending that he does in fact go back to the Chapter 6 world...so yeah.
So... you're saying... in short, That Ringabel returned to a world that was still not his own, to make the Duchy something respectable and powerful once more, while being a companion to Braev who lost everything. Something he could easily do in the very same world everyone else went to, as Braev was still alive in the og world, and all of his friends would be there as well, so Braev would not have lost anything, and Ringabel would be able to live out his life restoring the Duchy to greatness and atoning for sins done to the world, but in the presence of those he loves and who love him. Going to world 6 (though I've no idea WHAT proof or indication there is that it's world 6 Ringabel returns to. No big sign saying "World of Echoes" anywhere) is in no way an obligation, as any world would suffice. Makes no sense that Ringabel would return to any world but the one with the friends he earned and the friends he chose, over his past life and over his past duties.
+Hydrentine Also, you're contradicting yourself man. First you say he goes back to his original world, before the og world. Then you switch gears and say he returned to the 6th world. All I'm saying in the end, that while he went back to his original world as the controlling Alt D (couldn't help it), it doesn't fit with his character, regardless of the fact that he went back.

Bravely default ost was so much better than Bravely Second!
True, but Second has a few tracks that surpass the original's by quite a bit. One example being the intro you just heard.
Overall, the first had more better tracks, and as a whole, a better OST, but Second's OST is far from flawed in my opinion.

If you paid attention to the true ending he went back to his original world as Alternis Dim.

Those four abandoned perfect peaceful lives with their loved ones to see the end of their quest, solely because they valued the bonds they had made together more than anything. I know it's an ending, but it makes no sense to me that Ringabel would leave Edea and his friends behind.
Enderdude17 Here's your obligation, he wanted to make the Duchy something not to mention he would want to be some companion to a Braev that had lost everything. Whether the motives make sense or not it is revealed in the end credits of the true ending that he does in fact go back to the Chapter 6 world...so yeah.
So... you're saying... in short, That Ringabel returned to a world that was still not his own, to make the Duchy something respectable and powerful once more, while being a companion to Braev who lost everything. Something he could easily do in the very same world everyone else went to, as Braev was still alive in the og world, and all of his friends would be there as well, so Braev would not have lost anything, and Ringabel would be able to live out his life restoring the Duchy to greatness and atoning for sins done to the world, but in the presence of those he loves and who love him. Going to world 6 (though I've no idea WHAT proof or indication there is that it's world 6 Ringabel returns to. No big sign saying "World of Echoes" anywhere) is in no way an obligation, as any world would suffice. Makes no sense that Ringabel would return to any world but the one with the friends he earned and the friends he chose, over his past life and over his past duties.
+Hydrentine Also, you're contradicting yourself man. First you say he goes back to his original world, before the og world. Then you switch gears and say he returned to the 6th world. All I'm saying in the end, that while he went back to his original world as the controlling Alt D (couldn't help it), it doesn't fit with his character, regardless of the fact that he went back.
