ETA: The fact that you can kill almost anyone is brilliant though, as long as they play around with that mechanic later (e.g. putting you in situations where killing someone seems, reflexively, like the correct thing to do but actually isn't or vice-versa, and variants on that theme).

Why has there not been a zombie scene where a character gets infected and starts thrashing around, but instead of a monster they just suddenly are dressed in an elegant ball gown and high heels afterwards?
And the main guy is like "I thought you'd become a monster"
