There are tons of shitty movies, games and shows that have some really cool elements but the execution isn't great. It's a really bad idea to completely dismiss a legit good thing in something because you didn't like the rest of it. no no Ace's thing is prosopagnosia (the inability to distinguish faces). He recognizes people based on clothing and voices. Thats why he thought Snake was his old colleague because he was wearing the same clothes.
Tyler Sims No aces thing was poiling games straight out for no real reason, the judge however could never tell the lawyers and defendants apart which had rammifications in the DFL case.
Wow that's really cool. I noticed how the game adjusts to your fuck ups and creates these cutscene moments in real time. When they got inside of the closet when that guy was just coming inside, the game didn't instantly game over you, it worked with what you did, and kind of flocked you into the closet in order to have that moment happen. Damn that's really cool. And when Pat was flashing the light in the enemy's face, it didn't immediately kill him or chase him, it let you drink in the moment and then hide and then made this super tense and cool moment again, NOT EVEN 2 MINUTES AFTER THE FIRST COOL THING. This game has created two moments more memorable than anything involving the main game and Sebastian, like holy fuck. Except maybe Spider Sadeko's initial reveal appearing from the well-lit mound of bodies down a hallway. That was pretty sick.
I know this is a very specific hope. But i really hope that in the future this shitstorm provides more first person weird claustrophobic indie games with oppressive atmospheres and cheap jumpscares to force Pat to man scream. Thats what i think of when i think shitstorm.

Lets take a moment to remember that Dark souls 2, 91% on metacritic, is the "worst game ever made" according to half of the DS fan base. People tend to have a binary view of video games. You either love it or its garbage. Nobody has time to be reasonable or find enjoyment in a game's redeeming qualities.

The PVE element however was a bit lacking, particularly the lore, level design, and boss design. None of it was bad, but it was a step down from DS1. This resulted in every DS1 fan boy going on a tirade about it being complete garbage and just the worst game ever made. People are absurd.

Wow that's really cool. I noticed how the game adjusts to your fuck ups and creates these cutscene moments in real time.
When they got inside of the closet when that guy was just coming inside, the game didn't instantly game over you, it worked with what you did, and kind of flocked you into the closet in order to have that moment happen. Damn that's really cool.
And when Pat was flashing the light in the enemy's face, it didn't immediately kill him or chase him, it let you drink in the moment and then hide and then made this super tense and cool moment again, NOT EVEN 2 MINUTES AFTER THE FIRST COOL THING. This game has created two moments more memorable than anything involving the main game and Sebastian, like holy fuck.
Except maybe Spider Sadeko's initial reveal appearing from the well-lit mound of bodies down a hallway. That was pretty sick.
And now, a look into my mind. The mind of a man driven mad by Cage games. The mind of a man lacking Mechaweek 3 and Devil May Cry LPs.

I know this is a very specific hope. But i really hope that in the future this shitstorm provides more first person weird claustrophobic indie games with oppressive atmospheres and cheap jumpscares to force Pat to man scream. Thats what i think of when i think shitstorm.

To be fair, the final boss/showdown in Kid Man's scenario makes up for a lot. It's quite impressive for any survival horror title.
You guys REALLY sandbagged this DLC. Like I know you don't like the game but the DLC is half-decent.
Anything short of absolutely, impossibly perfect is shit in 2016.
Lets take a moment to remember that Dark souls 2, 91% on metacritic, is the "worst game ever made" according to half of the DS fan base. People tend to have a binary view of video games. You either love it or its garbage. Nobody has time to be reasonable or find enjoyment in a game's redeeming qualities.
HazardPlay Metacritic is the worst. The vast majority of ratings are 10's or 0's. Very few in between.
***** That's exactly my point though. Its a phenomenal game and many PVPr's would argue that it has the best PVP of any souls game. I personally have over 1,000 hours of DS2 pvp lol. The PVE element however was a bit lacking, particularly the lore, level design, and boss design. None of it was bad, but it was a step down from DS1. This resulted in every DS1 fan boy going on a tirade about it being complete garbage and just the worst game ever made. People are absurd.
I liked parts of this game, and parts of the story, but on the whole it was a mess. the sum of its parts less than those individual parts.
It feels like we're rapidly plummeting to the bottom of a very deep, very spooky barrel.
I really like this game, I'll fight you!
If it doesn't get a sequel because no one liked it, I'm have some strong words.

Upside down croses are not a satanic thing, it's a cliche made by heavy metal and hollywood movies. It actually represents humility from st. Peter who wanted to be crucified upside down. So it's a stupid cliche that drives me nuts everytime I see it, like in outlast 2.
