You can put a bag and board with modern comics in the Comic Capsule. It's Silver and Golden age books they recommend you put without the bag and boards. They explain this on their website.

Oddly enough, I rarely use modern bags and boards. They seem hard to get in and out of. A feeling that a lot of collectors I know share so I tend to use slightly bigger boards for all my books. Again, some thing I noticed all my collecting friends doing. But even when I tried one of the modern bags and boards, I had a couple of them fit no problem and a couple of them are slightly too large. I know that’s more based on the inconsistency and sizing. I really have no issues with this. I plan on getting more, especially when traveling to conventions and shows for transport back. So yes, the modern board is supposed to fit with it. I just found it to be consistent a little bit. But it’s also a newer product. Growing pains are normal. I love what they’re doing though.

I love the capsule.. absolutely high quality and loving them. However, the only complaint I have is even with current BCW boards and 2 mil Mylar, it does not fit well. I’ve tried various current books with less/ more pages and all do not fit well.

Champagne and comics? I like where your house is at. I agree over all. I think they’re a great idea and concept. And I understand how machining works for production, so a wide variety of sizes at this point isn’t really an option. For the books I’ve used them for this far. Spectacular!
