    Looking at this performance the Sapphire Nitro+ RX 7900 XTX outperforms an RTX 3090 also.

      @@reviewforthetube6485 ya i know , prices for that gpu here in my country on the s.h market ranges betweeen 600-650 euro , without warranty ,
      i manage to get mine a little cheaper for 550 euro, the seller said he bought it 14 months ago.
      After 10 days of testing 0 problems so far runs great , only small cons. i have , is the high power draw if u let it on stock factory settings it uses between 320 -370w at max.
      But i undervolt it , and i manage to keep that in check im getting between 250 and 320w now at max depending on the game .
      My biggest suprise was the RT perf. was expecting to have rt perf. close to a rtx 3070 or 3080 10gb max .
      But runs much better when im using RT vs that 3080 10gb i had before .
      Only expecting its cp 77 rt in that game to heavy to run at 4k only at 1440 runs decent 60+ fps with RT on.

      @@reviewforthetube6485 atm . 7900xtx at my place without warranty on the s.h market starts from 600 euro or 650 euro,
      depends on the day sometimes even cheaper then this.
      i manage to get mine a little cheaper for 550 euro.
      For exemple in comparison here , the rtx 4080 on the s.h market starts from 900 euro thats fck crazy huge diff,almost store pricing.
      Anyway after almost 10 days of testing i didnt found a single problem on this gpu. the seller said he bought it like 13-14 months ago.
      Hoping will last me some years , very happy with it till now and its much better then i thought even when i enabled RT .
      can play D.L2 for exemple in 4k ultra with all the RT settings on and XESS 1.3 modded upscaller . 60-70 fps.
      Only negative i have about this gpu so far its the power draw on stock settings . it pulls up to 370w on stock .
      But i found a decent undervolt custom profille and i manage to reduce that in the 260w-320w range at max now.
      Depinding on the game ofc , still 320w at max, on a gpu like this is ok for me , wish it was lower but im fine with this.

    I have 2 more questions, Why is the Cpu power draw more or less doubled for the 3080? and I might have noticed a difference in "brightness" in the video, the darks seemed darker with the RX 7900, not in a bad way I liked it. I noticed it in the opening section of the city ( the clouds)and the end section with the river.

      12 cores 24 threads vs 8 cores 16 threads. Radeon and Nvidia have different colour pellets, all be it very subtle. Radeon has more of a natural look while Nvidis is more saturated.

    Hey, i have been testing different oc settings using 7900xtx&7800x3d and discovered a very interesting result. Voltage doesn't really matter! From 1080mv to 1150mv, i only saw a 2fps drop. So i dont think stability is worthy of tradeoff for performance. I know your 1080mv and 2670mhz are stable for u. But when i using them for a prolonged period of gaming, it still crashed. Strangely, horizon 5 the gauntlet race event is the fastest way to crash when undervolting. However, other race events wont. Have u tried that race? And sure, it differs from card to card and game to game, maybe I'm not so lucky with my silicon. Anyways, what's ur take on this? Do u wanna do a video on how different voltage affects game performance? Much love❤❤❤

      @@Bang4BuckPCGamer I agree. Matter of fact, it's more than 100mhz almost 200mhz. But the fps will not tank due to increased voltage. In Horizon 5, I only saw a 2fps drop--from 103fps to 101fps. Returnal, from 133fps to 131fps. They are both using 4k highest setting with ray tracing enabled.

    Not really sure what the point is here, except that maybe the 3080 is still a solid card. It's 2 years older than the 7900XTX and the 7900 XTX is actually running on a better gaming CPU here, but the 3080 is still putting out playable framerates.

    • @Bang4BuckPCGamer
      @Bang4BuckPCGamer  หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      @DrOneOneOne As if the CPU makes a difference in a Ray Traced GPU bound scenario.
      You are clutching at straws.
      I'll tell you a few points. The 3080 is not slower than a 4070. Anybody with an Nvidia 30 series GPU. 3080, 3080Ti, 3090 should never speak the words "AMD can't do Ray Tracing" again. That would raise serious questions about their own GPU seeing they are getting outperformed in an Nvidia optimised game....Perspective is the point.

    • @DrOneOneOne
      @DrOneOneOne หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @Bang4BuckPCGamer I'm merely pointing out its hardly a benchmark if the hardware isn't the same. And it's.....kinda a pointless benchmark too. Newer ray tracing techniques show the 3080 on a par with the 7900 XTX in other benchmarks you did yourself. Plus the shtick of comparing card with years of tech differences anyway.

    metro exodus is not a game that uses many RT techniques and not even the heaviest ones. Because you think that in games where the RT is noticed a lot it performs better on the 3080 or the 3090 and in games where fewer techniques are used the 7900xtx performs better, remember that in raster the 7900xtx performs better than the 3080 and 3090 so if you run games that do not use much RT obviously the performance loss will be less and therefore it will run better, if there is something that I would at least appreciate is that you take that into account, content that does not take these things into account is very misinformative and simply proceeds to say that it is an optimization issue, take into account how RT is implemented before giving an opinion on it.
