Excellent statue. Little touches of moss and moisture on the stones plus light up and blacklight effects as well as the touches of gold help bring out the character. When not lit up the figure does blend in with the stone a little though.

I would love to see some custom switch-outs for this, like a spear or some Borda tribes blue Kente cloth draped over the stone panther, it's brilliant but would have liked some more colour

For a throne piece its demands alot of attention which is always wanting in any piece. For a Black Panther piece it's definitely one of the best out there. Incredible piece and I definitely agree 4/5 on the Xtreme Scale
Really cool looking throne piece! Is there a contest in the custom world on who can make the largest throne statue? It seems like the throne statues out there these days are taking up a massive amount of room. That black light effect was especially a cool detail. The further I got into the review, the more I grew impressed with this piece.
This a fantastic throne piece. Love everything about it. From the sculptured panthers with the lighted eyes to the black light effect on his suit. I noticed that there are 4 Panthers instead of just 2 sculpted into the throne. Does that mean he is the 5th generation of Panther Royalty. So if he died and someone else took over would they carve 1 more panther to represent him? The only thing they could have added to make this an even better statue, is a second portrait of him without his mask, yet wearing a crown made of vibranium. Still this is an exceptionally well done sculpt and concept.
@@mikegoddard5093 sorry to hear that. My refund is pending now. I saw some on eBay as well but I was scared to even try to bid on it after this experience. I’m Leary of any customs now and might have to stick with Prime1 and sideshow. It just sucks because they never produce the characters that I want. Just 999999999999999 versions of Batman.
martysturgis John correct if I'm wrong I do believe that you're panther is the prototype and they didn't produce any more unless the oxygen scavenge started selling them on eBay which wouldn't surprise me if they did. That being said there is a decent sized community of actual legitimate trustworthy groups out there just takes some time for said groups to get to know and trust a new client when most have a pretty faithful clientele. Keeps them safe from being scammed from scamming dbags like flankster whatever his name is. Wow this is a really cool looking throne. Really don't have mush invested towards this character but I think this piece makes me really like the character. I expected the price for the Statue to be more I think that's extremely reasonable.
Great review Mr. X like always, agree on the throne being too blend, Maybe a golden neck collar on the main panthers that will contrast w the gold on top. That’s my two cents
I have the Hot toys black Panther and it also has that hidden power up energy effect on the suit with a black light , it is awesome that this custom has it. Great statue in general I love it, great review my man thanks for sharing.
Very cool piece. It actually looks like a statue, whereas some pieces look more like toys or action figures. The dark colors risk being bland, but they also give it that look of classical chiseled sculptures. Personally, I think it’s one of your best pieces.

In the original photo of this statue the character was much blacker which made him stand out much better. Wish I could add a picture to this to show it!
I'm not a Black Panther fan but this piece does look good but Black Panther does not show up that well because of the rocks, I feel there should of been some brown paint added to the grey rocks to show Black Panther more as it's just all grey.
I think if they made his suit a little more glossy and less matte colored it would have more contrast against the stone. Other than that I definitely love the piece and the hidden details they added to enhance the overall backstory of the character. I would also have loved to see a head sculpt without the mask on just his face. But I definitely give it an 8.5/10
