This is something that I can truly see, Mr. Boseman do when he was younger or older in real life. A true woman or a man are always ready to own up to their mistakes and take full responsibility, instead of blamming someone else. Full respect!! R.i.P, Mr. Chadwick Boseman. Still really hurts knowing you are gone, but you will never be forgotten.

Remember that the Black Panther is a super strong , super fast trained fighter wearing a BULLETPROOF suit that frequently defends his country (often singlehandedly) against armed militias and other fighters in close-quarters situations. I am 100% certain T'Chaka could defend himself and his agent from one guy with a gun without killing the attacker...especially if that attacker is your own brother and a member of the royal family with a pending trial. He can run faster than cars and have split-second reactions before most people can even think. There is no explanation for that murder other than plot.

I’m glad they didn’t. While it is a good scene I think it would’ve slowed down the pace of the film. You have the backstory of wakanda and then the flashback and then to go to another scene of young t’chaka would’ve slowed things down and maybe ruined the shock that he killed him. Plus an action sequence helps boost the pace.

Been thinking about how Black Panther 2 would look after Chadwick's passing. I pondered the idea of it being a prequel as an alternative to recasting the role and having the story proceed the first movie in the timeline. I thought the idea of having a heartfelt moment between the king and his young son T'Challa where he foresees how great he will become would be a great way to commemorate him for his role. I'd be down to see his sister take on the role of Black Panther in the next movie too.

They still show T'Chaka in his suit in the actual movie, so that's a moot ppoint. Also, iIt's not the same suit; it's similar to T'Challa's old suit, but the minor details are different, and the helmet is very different in design. I think it's an intentional thing though, to show how much T'Challa wanted to emulate his father while Shuri's design is much more reflective of her being willing to try newer things.

  • @Walt_Xander94

Why tf was this cut from the film? Now that I think about it, there wasnt a single flashback to T'Challa as a kid.
In fact, this wouldve made the scene of T'Challa confronting his dad even rougher, because he spoke to him about that very night when he was a kid, but he didn't know it then, and he & N'Jadaka couldve grew up together.
