Lol the 1 of the worst MU winner ever. She’s the very first slender man crowned ever. They made her won it just because they wanna continue the black streak winners in the pageant. This is still a beauty pageant. She just looks like one of the maids from Zimbabwe. No offense but yeah.....🤣😂✌🏻
Well I do believe what you are saying because beauty is a very subjective thing....but she won because she performed...the moment she came into stage everyone was wowed by her performance....she was goddess that night..she may not be beautiful but she got brains...and wisdom...still it's a pageant right...and she did what was needed to win it
I wasn't going to comment on this as you are just looking for attention. Then I remembered what Zozi said in an interview with Trevor Noah (another South African) on The Daily Show... That she doesn't have all the answers and sometimes it is best to ask the perpetrator and to include them in the conversation about gender violence...To explain this, is by me keeping quiet i am part of the problem. Maybe you are ignorant, maybe you are stupid or maybe you dont know better... 1st Zozi is beautiful and if you think that she is the only beautiful thing Africans create look around... The world you live in was built through black blood and sweat... First intelligence is from Africa, why do you think all of europe wanted so bad to colonize and try to brain wash Africans through religion. There is too many of us in the world... You are lucky we humble and not turn things around because we have the strength for it...

Did u know that Catriona was one of the Judges when we crowned Zozibini as the new Miss South Africa. It was such a special moment to see her crown Zozi again as the new Miss MU.

@Swazi, not only that my fellow countryman, but Zozi was selected by two Miss Universe winners- Demi Leigh Nel Peters (Miss Universe 2017 from South Africa) and Catriona Gray (Miss Universe 2019) and to top it all, she was crowned by her predecessor, the ever beautiful and stunning Dr Tamaryn Green (Miss South Africa 2018 & Miss Universe 2018 1st Runner-Up)... So she was chosen and crowned by the best of the best, including Miss Universe 2014 & Miss Universe 2007... Well deserved winner :)

Joe Aguadera She was just kidding! 😄Philippines 🇵🇭 is a HUGE fan of the pageant world totally get that and not just some(as you mentioned) but most Filipinos are understanding and has a sense of objectivity. They’re not shallow but warmth and loving people. Of course, it’s hard to accept the result but disappointment and mixed emotions will trickledown eventually. Filipinos are also supportive and proud to others not just to our our own representative but to neighboring countries in the pageant world!

South Africa 🇿🇦 undoubtedly produces the best national pageant/event. From the production, training, the girls and rich diversity. The pageant, I believe it’s better than most of the top international pageants around. Miss universe production this year was disappointing but got one of the best winners. Congratulations to Zozi and South Africa 🇿🇦I was waiting for this review and didn’t get disappointed... you know when the crowns 👑 start flying all over the screen the head...it’s going down. Keep up the good work👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾

During the top 10 announcement, I already had that feeling that our representative from the Philippines is not going to fill that last spot because Mexico wasn't called yet. Sofia Aragon is a strong contender for the crown. In fact, she's in my top 2 together with South Africa. Both girls are a league of their own. Miss Universe is not just about physical beauty but more on charisma, conviction and credibility as a global ambassador.

Mostly all of us Filipinos noticed that our representative Miss Gazini was a little bit nervous and some words in the middle of her statement are not pronounce properly during her opening statement. But we are so proud and happy that she make it to the Top 20. Out of 90 countries she made it our country proud. And winning the Best in National Costume was a big achievement also.👏👏👏❤❤❤🎉🎉🎉

Just a pattern that I noticed that almost happened again this year. Did you notice that every time Thailand hosts, the following year Puerto Rico wins?! In 1992, Thailand hosted. In 1993, Dayanara Torres won. In 2005, Thailand hosted. In 2006, Zuleyka Rivera won. Last year 2018, Thailand hosted. But this year, Madison Anderson had to settle as 1st runner up.

South Africa kept her cool and was just amazing the entire night. Even before this pageant started she no doubt caught a lot of attention because of having very short hair. I said to myself at the rate that South Africa has been going the last few years, she would be the surprise winner with her short hair. she was on fire already when she won Miss South Africa. So well spoken throughout the entire night and over the last few years it seems that Miss Universe is looking for girls just like that. Confidently beautiful, cool and well spoken.
The new Miss Universe truly breaks barriers. I'm super happy that another black beauty won. I remember I was just talking about African candidates weeks ago. What an amazing accomplishment for Miss South Africa.

@@denchhhhhhh i am not an expert to say if they are weaker compared to other beauty camps. I dont know the statistics of which camp has more wins. Based on what beauty pageant experts are saying Gazini lacks training and social media exposure that are suppose to be provided by her team.

I will always wait for your reaction video every year. I started last year. We completely understand why Gazini didn't make it to Top 10. Nerves got to her in that Top 20 speech, but she definitely is so beautiful and would like her to join other international crowns.

South Africa really deserves the crown.. im a Filipino with no hate when miss Philippines didn't made it to top 10, but im truly proud of what Gazini did in the pageant..
If I'm to be the judge, i will not choose contestants who wearing silver gown, im done with that..im expecting more colors this year but history repeats itself. Im sad that Iceland & USA didn't make it top 5, i would Rather choose them than Thailand ang puerto rico, coz i feel like they're not true to themselves, but they're both beautiful..

Just watched this review haha love it. I just felt like Ms. Thailand had a same fate here and in her Ms. Earth performance where she is a front runner and a strong contestant but she fell short in the Q & A even her communication skill is wonderful. Her problem is actually how to answer the question that is being asked to her, so if she will pursue other pageants she might consider working more on how to answer the question directly and to take a definite side.
Your in depth knowledge and obvious intuition when it comes to pageantry(from what i’ve seen) is impressive. I salute you. I’d like to know why Pia is your favorite MU. I think she’s amazing too!
