What made Oasis special from all other bands were the brothers, their love hate relationship for each other, the Yin and Yang, the heart and soul, their humble working class beginning the personality and attitude their positive outlook in life which related to every boy and girl in britian recognising them as one of their own. Theres not many people who can say I'm Tony McCarroll, ex-Oasis drummer' No Mani, you're bang on with that one
This was brilliant! Looking forward to seeing the new Knebworth Documentary tomorrow!
Noel you are the greatest songwriter of the last thirty years (at least), you’ve made your fortune..............now sort your eyebrows out !
Live Forever is the greatest song since wild horses.
sick documentary! I thoroughly enjoyed this!
I knew Live Forever and SuperSonic when I bought the cd…..but the first time it played onto Slide Away I fell apart immediately. Still the best off the whole album in my book.
Just watched a 240p quality version of this only to find a 480p version right here that is actually 7 minutes longer.
I hope these young lads go far
The greatest band of all time. Rescued the 90s.
Are you insane m8 ? Have you heard of Radiohead ? Even James is better than nickers Oasis ..
Did they shite! Plenty of good bands around then not just Oasis !
@@hgreen8666 I’ll give u that. Oasis by far the best n shone light on all the other bands.
@@filipecoutinho5706 Radiohead I do like but it’s wank music for weak musos.
''Going for a peeeeeiiiiiinnntuh''. haha
7:54 Well played Gem, well played indeed.
God damn this is one of the best albums ever made
Have watched this several times, but just came back after hearing about the reunion… heard the beginning with Columbia playing and it just feels epic!!!!
Shake along with me, shake along with gem😂
OASIS FOREVER
IT WAS LASAGNYAAAAA!!!
Noel : "I'm not writing any tunes with 'baby' in"
Slide Away (on the same fucking album...) : "Slidin' baby"
Quest'anno l'iconico disco degli Oasis "Definitely Maybe" compie 20 anni! Celebriamolo con questo documentario esclusivo...
Shut up
@@maxdavies926 ooo you’re aard
@@hughthompson4846 what because 3 weeks ago i typed the words shut up
Im gonna be honest I thought this was making fun of the way they talked and then I realized this is Italian.
Liam sounds like a perfectly tuned instrument on "Slide away".
"It was an instrumental. And we were gonna keep it an instrumental. And then we wrote some words for it. And then there you go."
Even better is on the deleted scenes for the brit-pop doc LIVE FOREVER where Liam says how much he loves The Incredible Hulk. The interviewer asks him what he loves the most about him and Liam says: "Just his... greenness."
Fucking gold.
It shows the guys that helped make this album and helped Oasis become the band they were many engineers and the Real People had a massive involvement
To anybody who doesn't know this is a part of Definitely Maybe's 10 year anniversary DVD re-issue done in 2004 their opinions might've changed a lot since then too. Great documentary anyway lots of stuff later mentioned in 'Supersonic'
Fantastic documentary, doesn't matter how many times I see it I still laugh my head off at Digsy
