Jan cant you just walk if someone is helping you? I Just don’t want you to fall again. Don’t worry about your teeth and get sores or something. You’re a beautiful woman with a beautiful heart. I love how you are stopping stress by giving your cares to the Lord. He has a plan for all of us and knows he can take care of each of us no matter what. Try not to rush healing. Stop thinking of why you lost weight. Im sure it was stress. Maybe you can get stronger by releasing it all to the Lord. He is your strength and healer. God bless.

I’m so grateful to have come across your video this morning. To find someone that can relate to my struggles. I too had a revision (DS) weight loss surgery after a failed RNY. I was over 400 lbs with 2 young daughters. It’s rare to find someone that can relate. I’ve had complications & had both hips replaced. I owe even being here to God’s grace & mercy. He blessed me & patiently waited to for me to realize how much I needed HIM. It’s a miracle I’m here today. I’ve lost over 200 lbs. & working with a Christian holistic doctor to help with my complications. God’s patience & guidance to this dr is amazing. If I don’t see another day on this earth, it’s been good. HE was there all along waiting for me to come to my senses. Sorry this is so long. I’m excited to find someone that understands & pray everyone will seek the Lord before it’s too late. May God bless you as you bless others.

Hi Jan! I love your stories! I can relate to being called "skinny". I've always been heavy, but one time I lost quite a bit of weight and at some point after I was getting shots for something as I had a non-related surgery done. The nurse told me there was nothing to me when she was trying to find an injection site. I asked her if she was talking to me, even though there was no one else in the room. She must have thought I was a bit loopy, but I just never heard anyone say that about me in my whole life. You are so very loved, and it is great to see you coming along. I pray that God blesses your heart and mind with his peace. Let go and let God.
Yes, those of us that have been heavy their whole life are surprised to hear those kinds of compliments, not to mention seeing ourselves in the mirror. Even though I'm 5'8" and 132 now, I still feel like I look heavy. It takes awhile to get that out of your head.

When you walk in the hall please try to upgrade to a quad cane for a while versus using nothing for support. Get your strength back first before walking unassisted. You are getting better, it shows. This is the first time seeing you.. Loved your story so much, I can understand wanting to loose weight, but like you said being sick is not the way to do it. My son was diagnosed with leukemia in Jan. Of 23 . I also got sick with intestinal problems, I put myself on the back burner to take care of him. He passed in July of 23 . When he got sick I weighed 142 I’m 4”11 my ideal weight is 132 when my son passed I weighed 72 lbs. I am up to 91 now. My prayers are with you, I’m so happy to join you and your friends, much love and prayers, from Alabama.
You look good and your breathing is much better - thank God, and the doctors. It's good to challenge yourself to get back to walking in a safe place, like the hall. I am a believer in "use it or lose it" - to the best of our ability of course. Snappers or not is fine with us, you look great. She had 9 children when my dad died in 1965 the oldest was 15 and the youngest was 1 and she took us and raised us all by herself. All high school graduates and 5 college graduates. I too am a Cosmetologist. I'm retired for now, do to having a condition in my knees called hyperextention of the knees. I have to have both my knees replaced. Hopefully after the surgery and surgery for carpel tunnel in both my wrists I'll be able to go back to work, another thing is. I was so close to my Mom. She passed away, July 24th 2020😢 I don't think I'll ever get over it. I just wanted to share these things with you. I also suffer from depression, anxiety, panic disorder, so I finally found a new primary care Doctor, who has helped me tremendously. I'm going to continue praying for you, please pray for me too. Hello Jan I wear dentures, too. I know how weight loss can affect how they fit. I also know how expensive dentistry is. Look for a county dentistry office. Most towns have one. All of the dentists have their own practice and do volunteer work. So they are completely qualified. They might make you a new set or be able to adjust the ones you have. It's worth s try.

I has lapband done and I almost died from it. Then now I lost 55 lbs on carnivore diet. And I am doing good . I went from 22 to a size 10.

I wear dentures, too. I know how weight loss can affect how they fit. I also know how expensive dentistry is. Look for a county dentistry office. Most towns have one. All of the dentists have their own practice and do volunteer work. So they are completely qualified. They might make you a new set or be able to adjust the ones you have. It's worth s try.
