- BACK TO CARLSBAD CALIFORNIA!!! (Kind of) These clips were never uploaded and include probably SOME OF THE MOST INSANE SPEED, in a 2 day period that I have seen in Carlsbad, this video contains 5 (FIVE) Trains between 75-84MPH and 8 (EIGHT) Trains Above 85MPH, 4 (FOUR) Of these trains are AT or ABOVE 90MPH.

Seems like there going to bring back service only on weekends starting 2/4,though,no weekday service and trains 572,586,573 583 are still canceled but construction should be finished by the end of March,so service would be able to return back to normal once construction is done.Sure do miss the additional surfliner trains that I saw back in September.
Just when to Carlsbad only got three northbounds because of San Clemente but two where 90+ but one about 80 fun day (also got called in by Matt…)

Where's the BNSF freight tracks outside of town?
BNSF Runs through those same tracks in downtown Carlsbad aswell. It is primarily at night; they top out at 55MPH

I didn't know they rolled freight trains right down through that stretch right there well that must be pretty cool if you don't mind the train horns.

@@ntytp Weekdays; usually Thursdays and Fridays are the best in my opinion, Amtrak 785 and 591 tend to be the fastest trains of the day.
