- The Adelaide Zoo Lyrebird "Chook" is pretty famous for it's mimicking ability but we had never seen it ourselves.. until now! It just reeled out all it's greatest hits.. just for us! Drill, saw, hammer, Kookaburra, Magpies, Whipbird, Magpie Lark, Flock of Lorikeets... etc etc.. Amazing creature!
Anyone else notice that he's imitating the sound of two kookaburras at the same time?
Rest in peace little guy. I'm glad I got to hear you many times. You'll be missed.
