I've been crushing people with the MP9. With a suppressor equipped, it has a great balance of manageable recoil, extremely high rate of fire, and good damage per bullet, and it can mount optics and laser sights. If you pull down slightly while firing, the gun can be used very effectively out to mid range. I'm thinking about switching to the MP7 or the Vector 10mm once I unlock drum mags at level 5, though.
The elbow tuck and the non dominant hand full extended are 2 excellent tips indeed, I use it all the time! I'm wotking on a tips video myself where I talk exactly about what you mentioned there. Very good video! Also, I don't know if it's by design or just happened like that but I noticed that the ACOG mount as a hole that goes through it under the scope and you can use it as a kind of Iron sight, works particularly well on G3 and it's not in the way when I point fire because I tend to tilt my gun a bit for that.
That might be a little hard for me because I shoot real gun sometimes (I’m a hunter not a murderer) and your stance should have your elbows out most of the time
As someone who shoots competition and has traing you dont want to lock in youre elbow to youre body you want to tick youre elbow out or up and that lock youre arm in better and its more comfortable. This is especially true when you shoot standing up or ar aiming up at an angle. 9:59
One issue with VR shooting over competition, especially if you don't have a gunstock, is if your elbow is out, there's nothing to stabilize against, you just have a floating controller you're holding out. Whereas if I did have a gunstock, then yes I could stabilize against that since the gunstock locks into the shoulder.
I will say that is great advice for actual shooting. But in vr tucking the elbow is merely to stabilze without any real stock. It also helps lessen shoulder fatigue.
Love your Videos, they really helped me getting in the Game easier even tho i have only played 2 Rounds till now. Just one thing its a Picantiny not a Dovetail Rail on the AK, sorry gun nerd came through. But keep up the awesome work, i really enjoy watching your comtent!
I couldnt use the virtual gunstock my gun would do weird stuff so i went with a gunstock went with the protubeVr gunstock got the mark 2 stock with adjustable cheek rest makes your aim much better
also larger round does not equate to more penetration its actually the exact opposite. that is why the p90's 5.7x28mm and the mp7's 4.6x30mm have higher penetration both 7.62x39 (sk ak) and the 7.62x51 or .308 that is NATOs larger caliber for the game..... to add 545x39 and 556x45 were both designed to replace 7.62x39 and 7.62x51 specifically because they are better at defeating armor.
Finally was able to update my quest 2. Downloaded G.O.T and when I went in to play it was super laggy and was saying in the top left corner it was logging in then fail. Logging in then fail. So I left it to update EVERYTHING at my brother's. Hopefully tomorrow if works. 😭🤬
I was wondering, does anyone know if steam players can play with people who play using the rift store, or meta store now I guess lol...I want to play with my step son and he was honest about his age when he set his quest account up
@@Tanvarian I'm going to give it a try, thank you... Awesome vids btw, if it wasn't for you and a couple others randomly popping up on my feed, I wouldn't even know ghosts of tabor existed
Lol no man, there's no such thing as point fire. Hip fire means shooting someone who's up close without looking down sights. It doesn't actually mean shooting from the hips only 😂😂😂

The MP9 is super fun.
@@Tanvarian is the asval any good?
Val is pretty decent, the built in silencer is nice.
DUDE the fact you have the gun stats now is so legit! I never even thought about that with content
I'm glad you like ^-^
Yeah it's nice to see damage numbers so you can compare more realistically :D
@@Tanvarianwhere can I see that so I know what guns I have do more damage?
Goggle Ghosts of Tabor Wiki, it shows there under weapons

Man the tune ( song) at the end reminded me of maga men for nintedo. Rock on! This was more then a lvl gudie for trader and guns. Sweeeet
Good ear, it is MegaMan from Nintendo ;)
mp40 has gotten me around 60 kills today on silo, absolute beast ngl
Nice job! Keep it up!
I wish they would add the version of the ACOG that has the Red dot mount on top. Would be sick to throw an RMR on top of it
Yesss
Another fantastic tutorial! I appreciate the valuable information. I love this game and can really use the help.
Glad you found use of it! More to come ^-^
so helpful thank you! I had no clue what guns were good and the aiming tips were great too
Glad you found use of this! Get out there and smash ;)
Another grandiose piece of content. Lovin the vids!
Always a pleasure, Nate!

GREAT INFO BROTHER!
I tried the virtual stock but would find it near impossible to aim up like you need to do in silo.
Aiming straight up or straight down can be clunky with the virtual stock.
Hell yeah you know im checking out the stream
See you there ^-^
i put ap rounds in the g3 and it was so good it was killing most players in 1 shot
Yep, 97 damage per shot with AP < 5 meters. If they're slightly damaged at all, it'll one shot.
Sick vid, Tan! Ay, and you said you would do a video like this. Also first
Yusss finally!

damn looks like level 3 trader give a lot i have been grinding for it lol
You're close! Keep it up!
thanks for the tip, you have amazing aim so i thought you had a stock lol
Hehe, thank you. You're welcome!
I turned off virtual gunstock and now I can actually hit my shots. That shits so ass, especially for quest 2 tracking.
Especially if you know how to actually aim a gun, you aren't natural going to move the back hand to aim. So idk what you're talking about.
It has to be opsks for me trader lvl 3. No recoil and crazy damage.
OPSKS is fantastic as well.
yeah bro that is not a dove tail a dove tail is the milled in rail like the marlin model 70 or most pellet guns
Great video and tips! but i was wondering if i should use the virtual gunstock in the settings or is aiming better without it?
Virtual is better.
@@Tanvarian big thank cuh
For sure ^+^
Im wondering how to use the virtuel gunstock i need that shi
Turn it on in the Tabor Settings.

yo tanvarian what headset do you play on oh yeah and do you use steam or oculus
I use steam. Valve Index.
I’m pretty sure there’s an iron sight built into the bottom of the acog
Ooo?
I just made a comment about that, didn't noticed you already mentioned it :P
:D
Wb smgs?
There are fantastic smgs, these were my personal favorites, and I lean towards rifles.

Why do people hate irons so much?? Like I get that they are worse, but like they’re so affordable

sad I lost the gold magazine for the gold AK
I lost one of mine too. D:
Where can i find the damage numbers for the guns and ammo type?
On the wiki!
Are you using a quest or dedicated PCVR headset, also how do you record from the right eye pov?
PCVR
Right eye POV is an option for me with OBS and open VR capture plugin.
@Tanvarian Thank you, not being able to see iron sights was very frustrating!
Heavily agreed

The military is known to Hipfire MGs, actually firing from the hip, in a braced stance :D
