  • A live as I go video comparing my original silver plated neck and my hand hammered copper neck from Eastern music on my wonderful Yamaha 61s tenor.
My overall conclusion is that the copper neck has more of a great buzz and energy with higher frequencies in the tone that I am looking for although the original neck is still great and has a full tone. Both are very good necks in their own ways.

Kinda liking original neck more. Both sound great of course. Definitely more higher harmonics in the copper. Liking the more depth of the 61 neck. Of course its what your hearing feeling etc and response etc. Wicked on both horn dog 🐕 🐕 ha

Same, I like both but the copper has that extra frequency I like, its sounds so different in real life and has more fullness too. Should try 1 of these necks.

Is this the gold plated version or unlacquered version of the hand hammered neck?

I find this hand hammered neck is better for me than a Selmer neck but that's just my personal view as Selmer necks can be great.
