I can't remember the exact details, but I think they had 'relations' or he lead her on, but he had made it seem as if he had feelings for Amanda, and then ran off and married her mom. And I think Amanda was kind of vulnerable from her other 'failed' relationships. I know that's vague, and it's all I can remember. There was a powerful sense of betrayal from Mark's switch of affections.

Then Jennifer discovers she's pregnant,she eventually finds out about them when an angry Mogan ( her younger daughter) tells her out of spite. Mark is later killed when she's about to give birth to their son. She didn't want the baby, so Amanda stepped up to the plate & agreed to adopt her baby brother. Daytime @ it's best!!!!!
@@neworleansguy10 I watched GL and all the other CBS soaps with my Gram during the late 70s and early 80s. I'm the first to admit the normal heartthrobs don't do it for me. I didn't get the vibe from Josh, Kelly, Ben and didn't care for the teen heartthrob pool of Phillip and others. I liked Rick ok. But after following Ed and Rita, then Carrie and Ross (I met Jane Elliot on my 21st birthday) and having to share my 3 o'clock hour with my sister and GH, I really went for Michael Tylo. He always had that silent film star quality and I always enjoyed him. I went from wanting to slap Nola (even though I didn't care a wit about Morgan and Kelly) to loving her. Its because Michael and Lisa had perfect chemistry and delivery. Like they both have said of each other... acting soulmates. And I loved Michael as the alcade in Zorro though I didn't get to see to much of it. I joined the Army after Nola and Quint got married. I missed the Christmas 'show' and everything.
