While banning the veil is utterly absurd, Rachel is correct on that. There is no easy answer to protect women who are conditioned or are otherwise forced to wear the veil, and those who choose to voluntarily. you need to realise the story because which the covering came into being in islam. It about eve teasing one of mohammad wife by mohammad best friend Umar when she would go out to defecate at night. That when instead telling umar to stop eve teaasing because he was a warrior Mohammad told his own wife to cover up. If this is the story. Quran also states "Your wives are like farmland for you,1 so approach them as you please.2 And send forth something good .for yourselves.3 Be mindful of Allah, and know that you will meet Him. Rachel: "My doubts about the full face veil is were the women choosing to cover their faces". Sahar confirms it's her choice. Rachel: "I still have a problem with the full face" It's possible she has stereotypes as well that's why she thinks it's causing problems on the streets. If she only mentioned the cultural shock, I would understand and respect that but it also wouldn't make it right to suggest others take off something that has meaning to them just to make you feel comfortable. As a Christian woman I am so humbled by the faith and devotion shown by our Muslim sisters towards God and through their love of God to their husband and families. We seem to forget as a Christain country what St Paul said in 1 Corinthians 11, in which he expressed women to cover their hair in worship and in church. This is why pre Vatican II Catholic women would wear chapel veils in church before the tabernacle where we believe God is residing. I choose now to cover mu hair completely, I am a single woman and my own person. I believe it brings me closer to God. We say that a women's hair is her "crowning glory" I choose to give that glory back to God. The problem with feminism today is that they are pushing an agenda for a small group of predominantly western cultured women and the rest of us don't have a voice it seems. Feminism doesn't speak for me. You can't tell a fellow sister to not put herself entirely on show, literally wearing lingerie as clothes without being seen as "backwards" or "repressive" and yet they can tell us that we are "disillusioned" or "operessed". What nonsense. Look at Eastern Orthodox Christain women who also choose to veil constantly or certain Jewish communities where married women wear a tischel or a wig. Thank you for standing up for my rights to choose sister. You spoke with a passion for women's 'freedom' which I could finally relate to. God love you for it. We love God first and Rachel showed a true mass of ignorance and disregard towards those of us who choose Him first. May the Eternal Father, Allah, the one who was before Abraham was be our light, our guide, our deliverer. Let us rise like saints against those who have forgotten their maker and choose the world and it's charms over the true call of the heart. I will stand up for your rights to practice your religion and with the devotion that you do, stand with us too. We are sisters. ❤✝️☪️✡️❤
As a "spiritual but not religious" person, I am sorry to inform you that no one is closer to god than anyone else. Spiritually speaking, you are giving your glory to a mirror, so whatever meaning that holds is the meaning you yourself give it. so when someone shows their legs/body etc it’s fine but when they choose to cover their body it’s wrong?😂 it’s their own choice they should be able to wear what they feel comfortable in.
It’s not covering their body - it’s covering everything. It’s walking around like a Halloween ghost. It’s removing all identity. Notice only the women have to do this, because of sexism against women that is so rampant in Islamic countries.
This woman may well be in an empowered educated social position, and making a choice for herself, but think how many women around the world of her faith don't have this choice. As long as this creepy garment is worn at all, the risk is that more suppressed women will be expected to wear it. I can't imagine how isolating it would be to walk around like this, like a ghost. It's very confronting and imposing on other people. It's extreme and belongs in a monastery, not in public.
Do you want the truth? Islam comes to break all of your wrong expectations of the niqab. I know plenty and plenty of woman who feel EMPOWERED and HONOURED to wear such a garment over their body. Yes there maybe some parts where it is not consensual but that can literally happen In any religion or system, some people might fore or impose on those dependant on them, but Islam itself gives choice and doesn't allow enforcement, so just explain, how can by the action of a few individuals claiming to follow a certain religious trend which is not even a part of Islam, you are condemning a big religious value which is a personal choice for so millions of Muslim women Nd even women from other riligions

The nuns have a veil that covers their heads when they take their vows, if I remember correctly, however, before taking their vows they don't have a veil, if we don't talk about the lay nuns, who don't wear the veil at all. The nuns' face is completely visible. They do not need to remove their veils for identification. One thing is a headdress, veil, etc. that does not cover the entire face, Queen Elizabeth was famous for the hats she wore, but her face was always visible... In my opinion, the problem arises when women are forced to wear hijab or burka... however, if in a shop, a person must be identifiable (for example by taking off his motorbike helmet), then the same thing must apply to anyone who wears anything that covers the entire face and makes the person unrecognizable. It's a question of safety. I'm not saying that anyone who covers their face is in a store committing a crime... but, the law goes above any religious issue. To enter a shop, a person must have his face uncovered. It applies to everyone, not just for some, not just for the 5 minutes it takes to pay, but for the entire time spent in a shop. Then you can put any clothes back on when you leave the store. God doesn't get angry if a person follows the law...
Men have a 'dress code' too. They have to cover themselves from the belly button to the knee. It is different for men and women as naturally both the male body and the female body are different. Overall, it is fair and if you choose to not see it as being fair then you need to go educate yourself.

Much like Sahar, some women who veil are able to delude themselves into thinking it's their choice, but at the end of the day it is always oppression, and it is always degrading and dehumanizing. The face veil has no place in a modern, free, egalitarian, and progressive society. If covering one's own entire face is that important to the person, then they must go and live that way in a restrictive religious society, not in countries that value women's rights and dignity.

Please learn to live with it. Islam is a choice. Wearing this garment is a choice. There is no compulsion in this religion. I know it might be hard on your heart, but please have an open mind. Until then, farewell 🤍🤍
@@ayanahmed2346tell to the women who got so beaten by there husband that she almost died. Just for not wearing this piece of cloth
Well then in many parts of the world women are force, abused to take off their clothes and sell their body in fields such as prostitution or maybe simply by the societal beauty and body standards for them may require them to dress in a certain way, so what about that, why nobody questions that? I mean it is just ridiculous that people can be naked completely(like animals) but choosing to cover up is not acceptable? How? That is beyond ridiculous
I don't blame Boris Johnson's action against bank robbers speech during his campaign. In my opinion UK must ban people covering their faces in public places like in France.
Exactly the same kind of “freedom is freedom” of Piers Morgan that strengthen the Islamitism of Britain and especially London!
I ducking dare her to go out without one on and see how kych of a "choice" she has
2 faced doesn't cut it. There's other videos where Morgan says it shouldn't be allowed in the uk .
Why does Piers Morgan insist on constantly shouting over people and preventing them from getting their point across? You have guests in there, don't you want us to hear what they have to say?
Probably because he was accused of being racist for slagging off Meghan Markle so much, so now he wants to seem very not racist by defending the sharia woman
The nuns have a veil that covers their heads when they take their vows, if I remember correctly, however, before taking their vows they don't have a veil, if we don't talk about the lay nuns, who don't wear the veil at all.
The nuns' face is completely visible.
They do not need to remove their veils for identification. One thing is a headdress, veil, etc. that does not cover the entire face,
Queen Elizabeth was famous for the hats she wore, but her face was always visible...
Atheist: face to face contact
Covid-19 enters the chat … everyone is wearing it now … men and women
But same people are happy with the mask 😂
There's a difference between something that covers your mouth and a bit of your nose, and something that covers literally everything
🤡
Its so ridiculous i cant talk to someone if i cant see their face.
so don't
So talking on phone is a no for you then?
If it’s an act or faith then why don’t men dress up in these garments ?
Men have a 'dress code' too. They have to cover themselves from the belly button to the knee.
It is different for men and women as naturally both the male body and the female body are different.
Overall, it is fair and if you choose to not see it as being fair then you need to go educate yourself.
But don't try to use it to change a country you live in but are not from its roots and history and our ways, you must respect that countries religon, history, and it's way of life that's always been
I respect their decision to wear burkha but they need to stop wearing that and coming to banks, retail and shops. Scares the shit out of me! They need to respect security issues too.
as a christian, i feel like that’s weird a face/head covering scares you 😭??
So you do not respect it. Are you scared of people wearing masks in banks, too, or are you just islamophobic
Damn you must be a pussy then. You're scared of a religious covering which is meant for their own modesty and submission to God? Wowww soo scary omg 😱😱😨
How about wearing mask where is it different than burka
@@santracycyril6482 You don't know it but many military and security undercover officers to terrorist groups under disguise of burqa carry their works. In London too, many fugitives have averted police to even carry crimes with it. You sound like you never stepped into warzone or such and had a comfortable and carefree life but believe me, things are not what they look outside.
This vail is simply... I find no words!
Let's say it in a different way: "If I can't see your whole face and your mimics that give me more insite and information about the true meaning of your words and thoughts than I'm not interested in you as a person cause you hide yourself as a person behind a "mask" in my opinion!
Full link plz
If a man wore a mask like that people would think he were a criminal about to commit a crime.
So... what's your point?
Telling women how to dress because of one's own personal feelings is the essence of discrimination and the basis of misogyny...yes even a woman can be misogynistic
I like to look the person in the face when I talk to them, I would feel uncomfortable having a conversation with a person hiding behind a black veil. She calls it respect to her god, what does that mean? Showing their face to their god is shameful?
very dangerous and thats what u cannot explain them
