This is the latest Dashcam released by Vantrue offering 4 cameras in a simple to install setup.
The front facing dashcam has a resolution of 1994P while the 3x other dashcams are at 1080P.
The inward facing 2 dashcams have infrared lights allowing visibility when the car cabin is in darkness.

Welcome,
I'm reviewing here the Nexus 5 made by Van true a four Channel voice controlled smart dash cam.
it's has a 3.19 inch IPS display.
Maximum resolution in the front facing dashcam is 1944 P and the other three are 1080 by 1080 by 1080.
Front sensor is a Sony Starvis two, Wi-Fi 5 and an app control, voice control, buffered parking mode, GPS logger and it's super capacitors.
Here is a demonstration of the cameras and what they can see.
The side of the Dashcam has an orange button, this is the on off button.
The memory card and reset button, are under this cap.

I'm trying to avoid boring you too much.
It comes in a nice white package and wrapped in plastic.
The box beside it is the Hardwire kit.
3 types of fuse taps are supplied, okay how cool is that
and what I'd call a micro I don't know what the proper term is.
they're all five amperes fuses, yeah yep
The Hardwire kit has the option of 11.6 volts or 12 volts cutoff.
it actually has a 3M sticker on it and very light wire gauge I must say

there is no cable rating on the wire which feels really light gauge.
There are no markings on the cable.
USB C so good nice and solid cable.

USB C this is DC in yeah very nice and a labeled on the back - Nexus.
Nexus cigarette lighter adapter which is very similar to the S2 model.

instructions, holding onto the camera this way, infrared lights are there, two both two com Center and it's saying sure The Infrareds are pointing in.

This piece is the back window camera.
It's quite a big unit this...and there's more underneath the box.
There's another cable here oh wow cleaning pads fantastic idea.
Manual, nice clean cloth for the screen and removable stick-ons.
Connecting leads to the computer.
I think this is a heavy gauge cable, beautiful nice quality very nice and now the camera itself

When this is applied it connects using an internal magnet which connect solidly.
It fits firmly.

cost and Power plus the fuses to tap into the fuses and the cables here between
pretty neat and if you need to get that off you need to pull on that squarely

Hi about the hardwire kit have low voltage protection? incase the battery low voltage can be shut-off or contenues ? thanks
A new hardware kit has been released for the VS1 called Type-C Hk5 Hardwire Kit For Vs1 Dash Camera that I have not been supplied.
This New kit is designed to cut the power off at the predefined Voltage.
Does it have Advanced Driver Assistance System warnings ? Thanks
This dashcam doesn't have ADAS.
How were you able to zoom in exactly? Thanks.
Which part? I use Vegas Pro and in-between the crashes on the software I manage to use its zoom feature.
Do all cameras detect motion or only the main camera does?

does anyone have any idea how to install a 3 lead hardwiring kit from vantrue on a silverado
A hard wire installation video for the Vantrue Nexus 5 is coming. Is there anything special about having to be for a Silverado?
What am I doing wrong. I have the little green indicator light on the n5 front screen and rear screen camera but within 1 min of driving I can’t see nothing on the screen. If I push the orange on button on the left side where the sd card goes it powers up and then 1-2 mins later it goes back to the black screen. I’ve hard wired it in via the fuse box under the steering wheel of my Skoda Fabia mk3
Check your hardwired kit is wired correctly. Some circuits in the car may power down once the car is running. Every car is different and so is the hardwire kits.
Only a 11.6v hardwire kit selector is terrible. I would never allow my battery to drain that low
I agree. You may missed that is also has 12V setting. They have since released other hardwire units.

Unfortunately I can't speak Spanish but I have created a transcript with time stamps. If the text is copied and then paste into a text to speech converter it will read it out in the language that is chosen. Espero que esto ayude
Does this even have HDR? Night time footage was terrible
This dashcam doesn't have HDR on the front facing camera.
