I'll be honest it wasn't a bad aero overall, little untidy around the edges, some rust on the body and rot in the rear wheel wells, few electrical issues with the parking sensors and a some lights ect. It wasn't a prime example but wasn't a dog. Not really worth anything to sell unfortunately and now it'll live on as my track car for years to come. Done alot of work to it the last week, its going to be a different animal very soon.
Although probably would some say this car is 'ruined' (like some like thoughts I had first and I saw in the comments), I absolutely respect the build, because it has become a proper, clean build! Even form a Saab enthousiast perspective that someone has (finally) unleased the turbo power of the Saab with a proper race build! Very nice job!
I appreciate that. The work it's currently undergoing is another step up. Llandow in 3 weeks, it'll be a different animal, full slick tyre track car. Watch this space.
I have a 93 aro turbo 2.0 55 plate was it’s only dun 100k had new clutch valve seals what would be good budget turbo inter cooler 3imch down pre cat remove of it has one and have a guy to re map any help thanks so much

@@Aero8899 yea thats right, I got a full 3" system, 2.5" intercooler pipework and a massive fmic. Then the t19 hybrid and some little boost mods. That's why I guess around the 330 mark. I do need to have it remapped at some point, it's definitely on the to do list.
No, gearbox and diff are still standard at this box. Would definitely like an lsd of some kind in the future though. If your enjoying the saab content check out my last 2/3 videos 👍
Cool project! But I can't get one thing. Why are you buying top-interior-feature-spec cars for such a purpose and then ruining them? Saab does not exist anymore. And I feel some kind of pain while watching how someone destroys top-spec car version.
I actually bought it as a daily and used it as such for some time. The car was riddled with electrical issues, rear windows didn't work, rear parking sensors, half the features on the electric seat, etc. It sat for a while, I couldn't decide what to do with it, I was going to sell it but at the time they weren't going for much and I wasn't really comfortable doing so with the cars condition. Scrapping it was an option, but it seemed a waste with a car that was overall mechanically sounds minus a few bushes and bearings. So, this is where it ended up, its second lease of life as a race car. I sold and gave away most of what was removed to help other saabs. Overall, I'm happy with my decision. The car gets a lot of love when I take it to track, and people always have a million questions that I enjoy answering. Hope this clears up my decision making for you.
As a saab enthusiast, I hate that you ruined a perfectly good aero. But as a car enthusiast, absolutely awesome work!!! Keep it up!!
