I remember seeing the name Akebono in the show Madan Senki Ryukendo. Well, now, my smartphone's battery is running low, I must recharge it, then I watch this video later. Ultra-greetings from Brazil!
This episode is actually wholesome. Also,i'm surprised Mr Ishido did not say the word "coffee" in this episode,in the past few episodes,he either drink or talk about coffee. I didn't even know why i even notice that..
Ultraman Arc did not defeat the kaiju that had lost its will to fight, but returned it to nature. It was a good story that made me think that it is important to recognize monsters as part of nature and to protect the Earth, including them.
I seriously, seriously loved that detail. It was so cool to see an Ultra not afraid to destroy his foes, but also clearly does not want that to be the only solution. Really wonderful moment.
I almost forgot that some Kaiju are actually local and earthborn just like us. They're not necessarily invasive species or destroyers of planets whatnot
This story could've taken a really dark turn, since Alien Croco seems to be a blend of Alien Mates and Alien Buraco. I'm so glad it didn't turn out that way Though it makes me wonder if we will get an actual alien invader in a future episode who lies about their purpose on Earth, as the Zelan to Croco's Mates
I love that the final Shagong was spared and it wasn't the focus point of the episode like the Red King was in Z or the Demaaga was in Blazar, it's a small moment that says a lot about Yuma's(and by extension Arc's) character.
It came off to me as more a bluff than being particularly merciful. Trying to avoid the conflict for the same reason as Shelgon: lots of risk for no gain. Though he did try to spare the kaiju in the second episode until it left him no choice by pulling him underground...so you may be onto something of it being part of things.
@virovac885 that is also a valid way to interpret it. Either way, I'm glad a kaiju is spared not just because the episode is written to be on its side , I feel the kaiju doesn't have to die every time without it having to be 'special ' if you get what I'm trying to say.
@@ShinKaijuPrince it's a bit of both, really. Yuma's a biologist with high combat IQ, so he both recognises the Shagongs as important parts of the ecosystem, and knows when to fight and when not to fight. He was probably seconds away from detransforming, so bluffing the last Shagong into running away is the best case scenario for the both of them But I agree that it's nice seeing Shagong be spared despite not being particularly sympathetic or focused-on. I hope this happens more in future episodes, since it emphasises Arc's role as a protector of all lives, not just humans
This was in a sense an Ishido focused episode where he shows what he is capable of being a GDF Investigator. He noticed right away the owner and clerk of Akebono Inn were hiding something via hand gesture they were sharing. Thanks to him and Arc's guidance through Yuma they find out the Clerk Numa is a Croco Seijin who was stranded on Earth after being left behind by his friends while collecting Earth mushrooms. He wandered before he was eventually taken in by the owner and given a home. Numa during those 16 years have been gathering mushrooms and gathering scraps of metal to build himself a new ship and return home one day. The ship unknowingly produced EM signals that affected local kaiju in the area. He tried to cover for Ms. Ayaka by saying they don't know the fact he's an alien but Ms. Ayaka later tells Ishido they knew it's illegal to be harboring aliens but they took him in anyway. Unlike the Shagong from before who was infected by an Ooze parasite, these are regular adult Shagongs and not one not two but three of them? Arc defeats one of them with his Ultra shield which he then threw with his Ultra Cutter and form into an Ultra Blade Cutter. Then with his color timer running out he switch to his Sun armor and used his sword to get rid of it. The third one after it was knocked out by Numa crashing his ship into it, decides to leave seeing the small meat isn't worth the cost of two of their fellow kaiju. Yuma has a stronger imagination/empathy being able to put himself in Numa's circumstances and tries to calm down Ishido who was being hostile towards Numa. While having empathy is important, Ishido's sense of caution even if overblown is just as important which is backed up by his life experience making him heavily skeptical of aliens who have disguised themselves as humans where his colleagues and seniors had been victims of deception from more unsavory aliens in the past. Yuma has a bigger heart than Ishido but as mentioned before the latter had darker life experiences than Yuma had who had also kept his imagination strong from kid to adulthood.
This Seijin, Alien Croco is the newest Seijin. Four newest Seijin for Reiwa era. Firstly Alien Barossa from Ultraman Z series, Gibellus from Ultraman Decker the movie, Zangill from Ultraman Blazar series and now this one, Alien Croco, the new Seijin in Ultraman ARC series. Awesome, Shagong got appear for second times. Not just one, but two, no, three Shagongs in this episode. ARC allowed (or maybe ARC running of energy to fight) the third and the last Shagong go away (in this episode). Awesome to see ARC use the Solis Armor again. Seems like Shagong will be ARC's most well known Kaiju for this series. Alongside Shagong and Digelos, what the next Ultra Kaiju in this series will be as ARC's most well known enemy? I truly cannot wait for that, keep forward, Ultraman ARC 🤗!
